a good practice for CL
i think this was more of allegri trying to test our players and that was trying to attack and defense with second team.use the time to prepare for an opportunity to play for players like coman pepe and ... put in bench players at this match was a good idea. they rarely got the opportunity to start.

This team has some severe mental issues and they are there for show pretty much every game at least recently, the lapses in concentration, the lack of urgency, the mental break down when we take the lead sometimes. These things need to be addressed. It's all very well hiding behind the excuses of "yeah but we're +9 points" and all that crap but sooner or later this will catch onto us and we'll never actually progress, I'm still not convinced allegri is the man to resolve those issues and because of that we'll just stagnate under his leadership. I really want him to prove me wrong but time after time it's the same errors and all we say is "oh well I just hope he learns from it"
Don't you ever again try to post something like this.Allegri lovers will find a million reasons to explain that you just hate him and that nothing is wrong with this team.We are first +9 ,CL etc.How you dare to say anything bad about this team and display.

I don't think Allegri is the man to take us to the next step. Just like I lost hope that Conte could take us to the next step. Allegri surprised me though. He has done better than I expected.
I agree on every word.

I think that is partly down to the players wanting to prove they can win without Conte, as and when they win the league this season I fear it will only go down hill from there unless there are some drastic changes in personnel in terms of actually improving our starting line up which I doubt unless we sell a major asset i.e. Pogba.

meh, let them be blinded by these small facts but it only masks over the obvious problems which won't allow us to progress as a team. I'm not exactly calling for allegri's head here but we really need a manager who is mentally able, unfortunately for some they are mostly foreign managers but I don't care what any one says we won't get THAT much further in europe under allegri as we did with Conte, to a certain degree i wouldn't be surprised to see Juve go out in this round because of the underlying issues that have come into light time and time again, if not this round certainly the next.

Neither Conte nor Allegri. This is exactly it. They each have their limitations in terms of taking us to the next level.
You guys overrate coaches too much. Give him top defenders, top wingers and a goal scoring machine as a striker and anyone with decent managerial knowledge and some morale boosting skills would take us to the next level. That's been Brazil since... always. Shit managers, talented players.

We get him the top players, i'm talking about game-changers. And you'd Allegri being praised like he was God.

Van Gaal and his Ajax in 94-96, Guardiola's Barcelona... Meh, sure, they had good ideas and came up with good systems but most importantly they had talented fuckers, extremely talented. Give Allegri the tools.

How? I've been trash talking the Brazilian players for two years and you defended them. In general, we agree that football changed a lot. The funny thing about this forum is that when an italian coach lose in Europe, he's an outdated Italian idiot. But when people mention, for example Di matteo, he's Swiss.
