Let's not forget that Allegri revived AC Milan back in 2011 and won them their first title in 7 years.
I'm not saying we would have been unbeaten under Allegri but I wouldn't put ot passed him that he could have won the league in 2011-2012 team with Juve either

In your hypothetical, are we switching coaches with Milan 2-way (I.e Contes coaching Ibra’s Milan) or no?

Cause if so my intuition is still that Conte would win the league. I think Allegri would have really struggled with Matri and Quags upfront let alone Asamoah, Pepe, Estegbarria, Giacherrini kind of players, while Conte would have built a strong system around Ibra and wouldn’t have let Pirlo leave.

2015 team is stronger imo I agree. 2017 required a lot more luck to get this far.

I'll never forget when this dude made poor Belgian kid apologize for a turnover in a match where we sucked balls. That is his only legacy for me. As well as losing two finals.
Sports are entertainment --- and he played the least entertaining football possible.

We'd play the shittiest, most boring match, and he'd get off gaslighting fans by saying how great their performance was and how happy he was with it. Boring football where his outbreaks were often the most entertaining part of the matches. You can accept boring when we're winning. When we're not winning and we're giving up 65% possession to Empoli as we sit back and defend, it's unforgivable.

That's his main legacy to me. He's had a great coaching career with a lot of success, but if you ask a fan what's their first thought when you think of Allegri, it's probably a joke about how boring and conservative his teams were.

Allegri made us relevant again in Europe during his first stint. No shame in losing against those monster Spanish sides in the 2 cup finals.

But his second stint completely ruined his legacy.

Conte only succeed in domestic league but totally disaster in both CL and EL.
nah he could see that our squad is so stretched that we can only focus on one objective at a time. And that is SERIE A.

allegri came and yes we did do better in CL and continued winning Serie A. But years of epic meltdown at final moments in CL coupled with relentlessly winning the Serie A has caused our players to burn out and constantly pushing beyond boundaries.

That is NOT sustainable. Hence he himself quitted. He did nothing to improve the quality of the squad. But he simply made everyone play harder and injure themselves. Marchisio career was ruined by him. Pirlo burned out, when he could have given us another four quality years if managed properly. Pogba did not see the joy of playing for juve anymore and left.
