I'm very much over the Allegri discussion, but I’m flabbergasted that some of you still haven’t realized what the quality of this squad is after 5 years of absolute mediocrity. The last time we reached 80+ points is when we had Ronaldo, a Dybala that was on fire, and the last juve-worthy midfield, and we still almost pissed a Scudetto away. We are nowhere near that level now. If some of you don’t see that you’ll have a very hard reality check once Allegri leaves (which will hopefully be this summer).

Of that list of players 2, maybe 3, depending on his f*ing mood are Juve calibre players.
Yes the squad is medicore but it's still much better than 90% of serie A.

Serie A is the worst is ever been it's complete trash.

So us not having a great squad shouldn't be used and excuse.

what excuses are you talking about? We are second, which means we are performing better than 95% of the league.

ah yes the we are second argument. i see allegri throters have turned into milan fans now. celebrating the second place scudetto. maybe then they can celebrate most 1-0 wins scudetto and most fans lost scudetto too.

maybe they can celebrate biggest cucks scudetto as well with picture of juvepersempre10 as on the trophy as biggest cucky.

I feel your narrative of 'Inter one of the best teams in Europe' is going to blow up in your face at some point.

Darmian, Acerbi, Di Marco, Calhanoglu, Pavard, Mkhitaryan.. How many of these players will make it into the first eleven of teams like Madrid, Bayern, City, PSG, Pool etc?

Even their best players such as Bastoni, Barella and even guys like Thuram for that matter would find it hard to walk into the first eleven of a Bayern Munich or Real Madrid for example.

Allegro fanatics just cannot admit that they're a better coached team than us. Hyping up Inter just to protect Allegro or absolve him of any blame is just weird. Never thought I'd see that but unfortunately, it is happening.
How would it blow up in my face? They're already one of sixteen.

You are blaming Allegri for not being better than Inter this season? That's what you're saying.

Because I don't think anybody expected us to when the season started. What changed? Explain that to me. Your emotions?

There's no need to "hype" up Inter. They're strong enough as it is. Just because you hate it, doesn't mean it isn't true.

I get that you're emotional about the loss and all. But you're losing the plot and rationality here.

This isn't a serious discussion. The fact that we're second is more of a feat, than losing to Inter is as a failure.

2. place and i'm very happy with the season. Solid Champions League qualification and optimism about the future. Something that's been missing for quite a while.

I believe we'll be more equipped next year to compete with Inter. If we stay with Allegri. Which we'll probably do.

We'll have a strong mercado. Giuntoli's first significant one. And our team will change significantly. We'll be stronger than Inter in two years.

...

We need to revamp our squad. Players like Locatelli, McKennie and Rabiot ain't good enough to beat teams like Inter's. Vlahovic is still questionably good enough for Champions league. Chiesa is very limited. We lack quality on the wings. And our back three could do with a signing.

The only one who actually proved his worth last night was Tek. Others crumbled. Some more than others.

Actually, fire coach and don't hire any coach to save money, since having a great squad filled with Darmians and Dimarcos is all that matters.
:sergio:

Inter are extremely well set up. With experienced 5 man defence that has only conceded 10 goals this season. Quality midfield (that pass!) and Lautaro and Thuram link up very well.

Inter ain't no joke to deal with. And Inzaghi has done an impressive work with this squad. They defend like we did in 2017. And their counter attacks are devastatingly fast.

But given a bit of strengthening. Allegri will beat him.

We need start transitioning out of 3-5-2 while he's still here. Maybe 3-4-3 with Cambiaso and McKennie wingback this season then hopefully with another good fullback and 2 wingers, 4-3-3 next season.
