I sort of disagree with the notion that our squad is neccessarily terrible, I think we dont know the potential of the squad because they're coached by a terrorist.

F.e. Chelsea's defense under Lampard was terrible, then Tuchel came in and they won CL 90% thanks to great defending. I'm not saying Vlahovic, Chiesa, ADM, Milik etc are necessarily a great attack, but I suspect they're capable of a lot more than what they've shown under the terrorist.

Exactly. So many CL winning teams made purchases that 1-2 years before that, didnt strike anyone as amazing superstars, but during those seasons grew up to be. When looking back in retrospective at those players, everyone says "yeah but they had Arnold, Firmino, Henderson, Salah etc".

look, as i said we underperform as a team, and as i said many times, our approach is way too passive. but this isn't a great attack by any means. milik is only a positive surprise to tuz because we expected nothing from a napoli reject. di maria is way over the top, he will only stay because the family loves life in italy. vlahovic is getting criminal service, that's something we should be much better at, but he's far from a world class player, especially mentally

again, i'd love to see the same squad with a different coach. i think it's a very limited squad lacking quality in way too many key positions, but if de zerbi or tudor makes it tick, then i'd be more than happy to admit that i underestimated our players. feel free to quote me if we're scoring like crazy next season with the same players, with an other coach

Do they really though? What singus was saying is that they try to gain ground wherever and whenever possible, and this is true. All it took was 7 wins for them to do a full 180° renegade on their position. Now we are at a point where they will go to absurd lengths and mental gymnastics to try and justify how Allegri 2.0 is more fruitful than Sarri's stint here, when the stats couldn't tell more of a different story.

there's ample space between our forwards scoring like crazy and scoring more than they have this season.

take a look at what our forwards scored in the league in 29 rounds:

Our forwards have scored 25 goals in league this season, combining for less than 1 goal per game. on average there's usually around 2 of them on the pitch. is it even possible to have these guys score less? are any of them passing the 10 goal milestone in the league? at this rate Vlahovic should just make it, but it's going to be close, lol. the same guy that was banging in 20+ goals the previous 2 seasons.

You pay too much attention to those who try to rewrite history. Extremes are easy so it's not surprise people take stances like that. I personally don't have any issues with admitting that he did very well here, the records speak for themselves. His stay was overdue in his first stint though and the second one should have never happened tbh.
So I sort of get it why people hate Allegri these days, I myself wanted him sacked back in 2019 and never wanted him back. Reheated soups hardly ever taste good and big FU to AA for going the seemingly safe route. On top of that Tici turned out to be a disaster.
