Yes, Allegri was a solid coach in his first stint here. His limiations were evident back then, but the results and his other redeeming qualities allowed us to thrive and flourish. Now, his limitations are being further exacerbated and his inability/refusal to adapt to contemporary football is rendering him irrelevant and perhaps he is too stubborn/arrogant to adapt. In any case, he's done as a coach at the top level. I really did beleive that being out of the game for a couple of years would have allowed him to observe, learn and adapt, possibly even exercise some humility, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

In all probability, we're going to end the season trophyless yet again, and somehow we are going to "celebrate mediocrity" by rewarding those who clearly don't deserve it.

This club and the allegri fans deserve this.

Maybe. Nonetheless, Napoli are running away with the title, and based on the evidence of the past two seasons, Inter and Milan are potentially better. I guess we can make the argument for being a top 3 club in the country, but we should really be far ahead of everyone else.

They basically want stability now and in short term future. Replacing Allegri would be out of their comfort zone.

Juve will possibly be playing the Serie B next season anyways. If this actually happens, the correct thing would be to call it a day, assume defeat and close the club. Let's find another means of entertainment or another banal thing to be obsessed for. Let Inter win the next 10, who gives a shit anyway.
