Yes. He just inherited a good squad and never won anything without “Conte’s team”. That’s why the 2016-17 to 2018-19 scudetto winning squads had only 2-4 players (dependent on year) of the starting XI he inherited from Conte.

Wat a putz.

Yeah and that'll explain why Allegri is doing worse than Pirlo already this season minus Ronaldo (which he didn't want anyways) and the inclusion of Locatelli.
No one is saying Allegri is doing a good job so far this season. This team needs to do better.

Going all revisionist on his previous 5 year stint here because of this season is just another of your hare-brained piss takes. If he fails now, it means he fails now. It has absolutely zilch to do with 2014-2019 you putz.

How much time would you give Allegri? Until summer? If we end up sucking until summer do you think he should stay next year and be in charge of getting new players or not

I said before I agree with what Gordo wrote. As long as we show improvement down the stretch run, he should have the opportunity to go through a full summer window and make some proper acquisitions. We all know this team is in dire need of decent mids and a consistent striker. And then give him till midseason to get the team competing at the top again next season.

If we continue being completely awful, on all levels and end up finishing mid-table, then I don’t really know what to say. Entire team should be gutted. Management, coaches, players with very few exceptions. That being said, I doubt he’s sacked before the end of the second season.

Tuchel won the CL for Chelsea because Conte had built the foundation there for him.

Should that turd Inzaghi ever win something with Inter - only because of Conte.

Italy's Euro win? You guessed it right. That unmatched cup competition DNA Conte brought to the NT.

How many managerial changes did Chelsea have between the conte era and tuchel era compared to Conte to Allegri? :sergio:

Personally I would only afford him the same amount of time as his successor and predecessor

but they both had CR7 to hide the glaring holes in this team

now Max has even less despite Locatelli and a fatigued Chiesa

You're not getting the point, Conte at least has certain patterns of play, Klopp has a particular style and patterns of play, Pep etc... What's Allegri's? It's just lets just adapt the best we can because he doesn't seem to believe in any sort of philosophy other than hope for the fucking best.
No you’re right I’m not getting the point. Conte sets up a workman like team based on high effort but ultimately that team is very workman like, it’s nothing like a klopp or pep team, it’s just functional and well organised.

In Allegri’s first stint we played better quality of football than contes, absolutely he adapts because he had to and he was having players sold every season, key players. As soon as that happens to conte he throws his toys out of the pram and leaves. Allegri likes his team to manage games, be adapatable, read the moments, change tempo and punish the opposition.

He’s not doing it well this year and that’s on him but there is a huge argument that he does not have the players who are capable of delivering it. Sandro, Bentancur, McKennie, Ramsey, Rabiot, Kulu, Berna. The whole squad is bang average but more importantly they are mentally not at the levels they need to. If conte came in it would be his demand to clear this deadwood.

Allegri deserves until Xmas 2022 to judge his work, this is a weaker team than last season

I don't agree with the bang average part, however you're spot on that the squad mentally isn't at the level they need to and that's a direct responsibility of Allegri, who else is going to manage the team if not the manager?

Allegri wants a physical midfielder, Arthur and Ramsey are out of the plans, Both are expected to be sold. Juventus are evaluating names to replace them.(Giova Albanese)

Again; the first responsible for one's mentality is the player itself. Stop blaming someone else. It's 3 coaches in a row...

I don't see Chiesa, Loca or Chiellini lacking effort under Allegri for example...
