Yeah Allegri needs to get his head a bit out of his ass and stop the nonsense with stupid midfielders as wingers, especially with De Sciglio behind, what was he thinking there? I saw some people even mentioning what stroke of brilliance it then was to replace them both at halftime :fap:

And the fetish with mediocre midfielders out of position is a bit alarming too. As of now, all our mids sucks (until proven otherwise), and the goal is to use as few of them as possible. Not plaster them all over the field in weird positions.
.
Were you expecting him to start Alex Sandro again and burn him out or is the issue that you were expecting him to start Pellegrini over MDS. (They are both as bad but at least MDS has a bit of experience and can position himself on defence.

We played with two wingers and two central mids plenty of times last season, it was horrific. No reason to expect it would be any better now so I can understand having a target man out wide allowing us to go direct and relieve pressure.

The gameplan is simple and unlike last season he’s used a similar line up in the same system 3 games in a row with a clear idea of what we are trying to do.
You may be able to question it’s effectiveness but I don’t think it’s possible to say that it is not simple.

Some rather silly people here severely underrated Pjanic too.

All three were winners. And had the attitude and intelligence to play at the very highest level. I agree they were getting up there in years and replcements were needed… but we replaced them with rubbish and we have scrubs now, with mostly shit attitudes and pretty low intelligence on the pitch. Hopefully Locatelli is the beginning of fixing the Tootsie midfield debacle.
A few years ago I was overrating them in CL, expecting Max to achieve more with them in his last season.

Now I found out I was underrating them in Serie A, not realizing we could actually sign a more toothless midfield.

Tici is to blame for this mess. We’d have problems if they were still with us today aswel.

I’ve read on twitter that he is training/planing 4231
Fucking finally. We have the attack to hurt anyone, no point in keeping all the talent on the bench at expense of Rabiot, McBurger or Bentancur.

Balance is needed of course but this Juve is not able to defend the way the old one did. We need a new gameplan, instead of looking for a new Mandzukic, lol. Rabiot ain't that for sure.

Inter took Inzaghi to continue Conte's 3-5-2 and backed up a good squad with decent players despite Hakimi and Lukaku leaving which is why they worked well immediately. Similarly, Spaletti has gone to Napoli which has the exact players for his system so they look good already. Sarri has to implement his system but his squad is alright so they will pick up soon enough. Allegri has such a garbage selection that he is struggling to find a formation and starting 11 that works. He'll figure it out but it will take longer than the other teams. What is clear is that he'll need another Summer transfer window to properly sort this horrible squad mess, from keeper to midfield, and probably attack as well. There are levels to reaching the top from keeping clean sheets, tactical flexibility, squad rotation, mentality, and Allegri is starting from scratch in all categories.

The plan was probably to implement 4231 from February next year and fire on all cylinders from March till May.

But we played like shit in some of the games since the start of the season, Allegri was probably like - fuck it, let's go with this now.

In Allegri's first era he played 352 with very few adjustment to Conte, while training 433 for a few months before making the transition. IIRC. Right now we play more or less the same as under Pirlo. Is he doing the same thing as last time?
