Zlatan and Thiago Silva were sold because AC Milan had spent like drunken sailors and the bills came due. Not because that was part of Allegri's plan. :shifty:

What makes you think Marotta won't do similar moves? Sell Vidal and Pogba? exchange Marchisio with Poli? exchange Asamoah with Taider. And when Barzagli, Pirlo and Buffon retire, he'll bring you the cream of the cream from Sampdoria?

He has the ability to do that as he has done it before.
Noone will do that out of incompetence. You don't become a director of Milan or Juve if you're not competent. Galliani didn't "destroy" Milan on purpose. His hand was forced. The same can happen to Juve, considering the financial situation in Italian football.

This still doesn't explain Conte's sudden departure. If there is no money and no ground for success in Europe, then by all means the best serie A coaches should look elsewhere, as Mourinho, Capello, Ancelotti and the likes already did. If that's Conte's reason too, he should have done it earlier, not like this.

Did it ever occur to you that the reason why they sold these two was because Milan spent foolishly all those year prior, and had to do something to stop hemorrhaging money year over year? I'm not defending Allegri or anyone here, but everyone knew about Berlusconi's spending habits on his club, and how it would hurt in the future
The last time I checked we built a stadium just recently. Not to forget the amount of times we heard the millions we lost from last season's CL exit. Not to forget the amount of times we heard the phrase "balance the books". There is no smoke without fire.

I never said it was part of Allegri's plans. They were sold to balance the books and Allegri accepted that and "did his best".

So what you're saying is. If Conte wanted unattainable players outside our budget, and that's why he left, he was being irresponsible, not looking out for the best interest of Juve

In the end it is the same Allegri that did not complain at what Galliani was doing, will he complain at what Marotta might do?
What has he done in the four years that he has been here that would lead you to believe that he would

A) Sell Pogba and/or VIdal? You know the biggest name that he has sold so far in his tenure? Diego. Yeah, that Diego. The same Diego that has bounced around Europe ever since.
B) Are you serious? Honestly. Exchange Marchisio with Poli and Asamoah with Taider? This isn't you. You're better than this
C) And this is why Marotta and Paratici have invested so heavily in the youth sector the past three seasons. You don't think they know full well that the time is coming for these guys? You know, not every young player purchased is simply a makeweight for another deal.
