I don't know. He used to be some sort of Dr. House of football coaches for me. A likeable asshole.

And you perfectly described a former juve coach btw.
Same. Hated him at inter but otherwise he has always been a cool guy. I think he joined the wrong teams and then couldn't adapt a different style than his own, which was required for him to succeed

The pro-Allegri mob on here is like a religious mob incapable of taking the slightest bit of criticism without losing their mind.

When did I ever say that Allegri was a bad coach?
You just don't get it that it has nothing to do with Allegri being protected from criticism and that is only and solely about your naive arguments and wrong comparisons that triggers posters here, people cant agree with a bunch of non-sense.

Otherwise, constructive criticism has never been an issue in this topic.

How the hell can anyone like him (especially you, who's such a critical person :p)? Such a disgusting, classless, whining, cowardly loser. And yes, a has been.

Always despised him. Especially his disrespect towards Ranieri back when he was charge of us. Love that Ranieri won the PL with Leicester the same season the classless asshole got binned by Chelsea.

Klopp took a 13th place Bundesliga team, and made them Champions League finalists.

Easily as good as anything Allegri has achieved.
One great season isn't enough. If it was, Roberto di Matteo would be considered a better coach than Allegri.

It's funny how Nedved96 uses CL performances to rank Pep and Mourinho above Allegri but completely disregards Klopp and Conte's records in Europe.

No, I was making the point that you can’t pick and choose your standards as you go along.

You can’t argue that Allegri is better than Guardiola while simultaneously arguing that Allegri is better than Klopp unless you contradict your own standards.

Why? If building the most efficient team with the resources you have is the criteria, no one in the world beats Max.

Diego Simeone?

Ultimately there’s no point rehashing this debate over and over again because I don’t deny that Max is a very good coach. I’m merely pointing out that there are other great coaches out there who have achieved great things, who are at least Max’s equal. That is what has triggered so many Max fans on here.

If Allegri has the same budget as Real, Barca, Man U , City , PSG ...he will conquer the world every year ...

I rate him very high but our budget and market isn't compared to the Top Spending Guys ...

Seems pretty reasonable to me. Dortmund are not one of the big boys in terms of finance. Getting to final and couple of knockouts.

Now he got Liverpool to knockouts. (might sound meh but plenty of english clubs have struggled even in the groups recent years, Tottenham didnt advance last year, Arsenal has had issues).

Lot of people seem to bash on Klopp. What he did at Dortmund was fantastic. Won 2 league titles vs Bayern which is much richer club.

Ultimately Liverpool might not be suited to Klopp. Its a big historic club, but it doesnt have the finance to rival the money clubs in Manchester.
