So what exactly is the mark of a great coach? Is it winning a lot of trophies? In that case, Allegri isn't in the same league as Mourinho and Guardiola.

Is it overachieving with what you have? In that case, Allegri hasn't achieved what Klopp has done for Dortmund.

No matter what standard you want to use, you cannot argue that Allegri is better than Mourinho, Guardiola and Klopp. It's just not possible, unless you change your standards when they suit you.

Mourinho.... cuz winning the Community Shield, League Cup and Europa League with one of the world's most expensive squads in the world is so impressive

No one cares where Allegri rates against other coaches.

The club is bigger than any individual , player or coach.

Allegri has been getting results for the club and that is all that matters.

It's just that your comparisons are naive and you're whining is grating.

Winning the CL with Porto and Inter is pretty impressive.

Ultimately, this entire argument comes from me pointing out that Allegri isn't any better than the managers that are frequently mocked on here. That triggered posters.

Is he better than other top managers at certain things? Yes. Can he still improve and does he have weaknesses relative to other top managers? Hell yes.

How the hell can anyone like him (especially you, who's such a critical person :p)? Such a disgusting, classless, whining, cowardly loser. And yes, a has been.
I don't know. He used to be some sort of Dr. House of football coaches for me. A likeable asshole.

And you perfectly described a former juve coach btw.

To each his own... but really, not many more loathable characters in football than him for me. Such a snake.

Conte is a whiner, but at least he has integrity imo.
