I don't think Juan will make a great RB but at this point our RB option is costing a goal every 2 or 3 matches so can he possibly be worse? He could even get punted into the net like Lichtsteiner but at least offensively he will contribute more so it's a net gain.
And he can track back with speed. I dont know his limits as a defender but at this point we lose nothing trying. Mds and licht are very bad right now and cuadrado is always ready for what u ask for him.

What i dont understand this year is his rotation in a defence that is terrible. Rotation is normal but did we play with the same defence to match in a row this year? Make your Pick at make it work, then rotate!

Secondly we look so much better going forward When Douglas is involved! He is not just a brainless wing like Cuadrado, but he a very good combination and passing player. He has to get more touched, Cause we look much more dangerous When he is involved.

-MDS-Howedes-Chiellini-Sandro-
--Pjanic-Marchisio-Matuidi-
---Bernardeschi-
--Dybala-Higuain

Just once please !

I would love to see this, I think it might be pretty much the strongest lineup we can have.
The dream right there
Would be our strongest line up. But still think Costa should somehow be on our starting line up

3-4-2-1 with a back 3 of Rugani, Chiellini, and Howedes; a midfield comprised of Marchisio and Pjanic flanked by Cuadrado and Sandro, with Dybala and Berna behind Higuain. We can transform that into a 3-4-1-2 with Marchisio and Matuidi as the midfield duo, Pjanic as the 1 behind Dybala and Higuain/Mandzukic. We can also change that into a 3-4-3 with a front 3 of Berna, Higuain/Dybala, and Costa. I think we need to revert to a back 3 until we rediscover that solidity.

Mister was resting Dybala for the Napoli match all along. It's the game of the season for us.

Against Barcelona I expect him to get 20-30 minutes and against Crotone maybe 30-40 minutes. Even that is quite a lot.

Allegri: 'No big Juve problems'

Max Allegri doesn’t understand the comparisons between Paulo Dybala and Leo Messi, but insists Juventus “don’t have big problems” ahead of Barcelona.

It kicks off on Wednesday at 19.45 GMT at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin.

“Tomorrow the tactical system will depend on how we move in defence and attack,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“We lost two games in Serie A (against Lazio and Sampdoria) and analysing the first part of the season, we need to improve our defensive movements, because we have conceded too many goals. It’s not just a system, but who we field and the characteristics of the players.

“In football, it’s results that count and not performances. We must be quicker to react, but Juve don’t have any big problems. We’ve scored 37 goals and conceded 14, it takes balance, and recently Juve always managed to mess something up and then recover.

“Barcelona conceded only two goals in 14 games, scoring 22. They are very balanced, defend well and it’ll be even more difficult for us. Having said that, it’s all open and we can qualify either tomorrow or in Athens.

“Juventus can reach the Final again. First of all, let’s get past the group stage, then we can talk again in March.”

The Bianconeri lost 3-0 at Camp Nou in September and Allegri’s tactical choices were criticised.

“I thought we had a good first half. The strange characteristic this season is that when we didn’t keep a clean sheet, we always conceded two or three goals. We must defend and attack without splitting the team in two.”

Juve were beaten 3-2 by Sampdoria on Sunday afternoon and Allegri was critical of midfielder Sami Khedira.

Khedira made too many runs forward when we went a goal behind and he left Miralem Pjanic isolated. Tomorrow I must decide whether to play Mario Mandzukic, Blaise Matuidi or Douglas Costa. Federico Bernardeschi is injured.”

The comparisons between Messi and Dybala continue ahead of the showdown between the Argentina internationals.

“Dybala will start tomorrow. He is 23 years old and he started out scoring many goals, then had a dip, because that’s natural in the growth process. They are two very different players and move differently too.

“They have completely different physical as well as technical characteristics, as Messi is an explosive player and Dybala is more aerobic. Whether they can play together is not my problem!

“Messi is the only player in the world who knows how to turn and pass the ball where nobody else can. We must defend well as a unit. If the whole team doesn’t help out, it’s difficult to mark him.

“We are facing a side of great talent and quality, so need a super performance to bring home a positive result.”

How some Pick Berna before Costa is beyond me. I like to formation, but formation is just Numbers.

Bernas level is miles from costas. And Yes i Think Costa can play as tq. Him, Dybala and Higuain playing close together could be awesome.

Dybala - Costa behind Higuain 👏👏

I can't imagine that any young talents are keen on joining Juventus after seeing how Allegri has treated Rugani, Pjaca and Berna.

The only thing Allegri's snail-paced integration is achieving is stagnating the growth of our young players.

Ya, I'm sure Morata, Dybala and Alex Sandro feel the same

Alex Sandro played left back just 6 times in his first season here, in most of his games he was either benched or shoehorned in the left midfield position. Evra was our usual left back that season, despite the fact that it was clear that Sandro was already better than him. Evra played 500 more minutes than Sandro in 2015/16. Why? Because of Allegri's slow integration obviously. Evra's experience came to great benefit when he tried to dribble Vidal instead of just hoofing it clear in the 90th minute.

I'm not saying that we integrate every young player slowly, but compared to other top clubs in Europe, we are clearly very slow and cautious. This is something young players will take into consideration when picking the team they sign for. They want to play, not rot on the bench.

The only top european clubs worth comparing us with are real, barcelona and bayern...and I dont see any young players in their regular XI's that were thrown in super quick
For example, Asensio is still a sub even after his explosiveness last season
