Why the hell would anyone calk for his head if he got us to a 3rd CL final? Even if we lost 4-1 again whatever coach we replace probably wont be getting us to any CL finals anyway

It should be the end of the line regardless. Honestly, he should have left after losing that second final. Very tough to come back and do better after losing 2 finals. His time here seems done and he has nothing to add to the team. Most of the players don't seem to play for him. They don't seem motivated in most games. A change might be good for both sides but finding a suitable replacement will be difficult.

Will we get someone of enough quality to actually improve the situation though?

When it comes to coaches our management is way too Italian centered. Not that there aren't a number of very good Italian managers out there but it shouldn't be given as much priority as it is imo

though as much as I love Euromaxx I think you may be right that the players don't seem to share that fondness
