I'm more upset over the performance than the result TBH. A draw is fine, if we actually played very well, created numerous chances, were unlucky, came up against a freakishly good keeper/defenders...sometimes those games happen, but last night we just looked absolutely clueless in attack. Over-reliance on Cuadrado to produce magic, starting two CFs in Morata/Mandzukic backfired when it looked like we were up against a very tactically drilled team. We needed more creativity and more speed. With proper choices, we CAN beat them in Germany in two weeks time.

:agree:

We need to stick with Dybala and Morata.

But why doesn't he play Dybala?

Still haven't received a proper explanation from anyone (not that this is the right place to expect such)
He wanted the physicality of mandzukic. I don't agree with it at all but yeah. He said how well they did against city, sure but city attacked. Against a team like Gladbach who sit back you need quality in the buildup. City have saved their CL in the last minutes against Gladbach and Sevilla now, we need to beat the Germans over there now.

Last night was really bad. A full stadium, thousands if not million watching on TV and then this perfomance which I can only label as ugly and uninspiring. Allegri is a way too cheap, calculating and controlling to my taste - he thought he could control inn a 1-0 victory for us but it failed and by 70th minute it started to look really really lame.

And this Dybala needs to "mature" argument is only ridiculous. What we needed was skill, flair and fantasy to unlock the german defence, not maturity what in the actual F*** is going on Allegri. :(

At this point, it should be obvious to everyone that he is not able to turn the things around. It's best time to fire him to avoid further humiliation. There is someone else, an enemy of Juventus who should be fired and arrested before him though.

My take on Maximus this season YTD:

-Defense I am OK with.
-Midfield that is full strength, I like his choices.
-Attack, this is my biggest concern. On paper we easily have the best attack in Italy there is no reason why we can't be scoring much more. He really needs to pick a duo and stick to it. Chopping them up so often can't be good.
- defense: we concede at every 8,5 shots aimed at our goal. that's not "ok" by any means.
- midfield _is our biggest concern. pogba can't find his form, marchisio was injured too long, allegri doesn't play lemina (he was our only good player away at napoli), and while pirlo and vidal regularly assisted our strikers, now there's no creative force in the midfield.
- strikers will start to score once the midfielders start to feed them.

I'm all for fire allegri bandwagon but been on it for a while. I was surprised to come into this thread and read the reactions, because last night's performance wasn't very disappointing or different from what we saw from conte in MOST of his matches. In fact conte would have started zaza ahead of anyone else and make subs in the 85th min. Conte got lucky coz in matches like these pirlo's set pieces or Vidal's grinta or marchisio's form or tevez brilliance got us that one goal from scrappy frustrating matches.
