It should ring a bell with the name of Gladstone-now he is a target for the Brasil NT and Dunga has see him different times playing very well. And he is a fix POint in the U21 of Brasil.

Tevez can join us together with Masce only if Trez leave in January for Lyon (and this is not a transfer that never ever can happen...)
That is Capello for you.

Athirson is really a freak case. He came here with massive reputation - being dubbed as the new 'Cabrini". Obviously, he couldnt defend to save his life. But lets not forget he competed with one of the most under-appreciated players in our team, Pessetto, and loosing out to Pessettino is no disgrace.

Having said that, biggest problem with brazilian defenders is not their actual defending but positioning skills. But to be honest with you, their technical skills are so superior, they more than off-set Italian's advantage on defense. I just think Italian coaches in general are control maniacs, and they are simply not willing to allow individual talent to express themselves to full-extent, because they are too scare of being dazzled. Too many wannabe Capello in Serie A IMO.

one of the basic features of a 4 4 2 formation is having attacking full backs, for heavens sake we are juventus.. and u mentioned zambrota, that what was great about zambrota, his attacking cabapilities, his overlaps with very dangerous crossing, as a defender he did his job... infact zamborta originaly was an atacking central midfielder, than a winger, and thats what made him great as a ful back.. he was our brazilian full back :) and athirson just confirms what me and jun-hide were saying, that our scouts in south america suck
what was great about zambrotta is that he cover the whole left flank attacking and defending, when he was a winger he was not the super player he is now (remember anclotte he played 3-5-2) but he shined as a fullback becuase he could defened and attack, but mainly when defending he doesn't make mistakes. roberto carlos was a great fullback but only in attacking, he doesn't go back to his position as fast as Zambo do. alves also good at attacking but he is not that good in defending, same applies to sorin. there is a big list of fullbacks who are good at attacking but they mainly not that good in defending. this what made Zambo that good. iam not against south american fullback but lets face it they don't work so well in Juve.

By the way: The entire Argie-Press is laughing about the Transfer of Milan. The full-back that Milan bought was in 11 games in the highest Argie League one of the 5 crapiest player of his team...

yep mate got to agree on everyting... zambrota is way better than robert carlos because he can defeand, whereas carlos always leaves so many spaces at the back cause he remains up front.. when i was talking about southmerican players im speeking more in general rather than full backs only. i mean i would like some southamerican flair in our team.. and i only mean 2 - 3 players, not a whole team as interr..

Reports in Italy claim Juventus are to make a renewed bid for West Ham United midfielder Javier Mascherano.

The Argentine has struggled to adjust to the demands of English football and has made just seven appearances since his August move from Corinthians.

He has yet to feature under new Hammers boss Alan Curbishley and reports persist he will be allowed to leave Upton Park.

Curbishley is still assessing his squad, while Mascherano insists quitting West Ham has not crossed his mind.

But Juventus have been long-term suitors of the stylish midfielder and coach Didier Deschamps is a fan of the South American.

The latest reports in Italy suggest Juve are dispatching two officials to London in the coming days to meet with Mascherano's management company MSI.

The club hope to persuade MSI to move Mascherano out of West Ham and are willing to pay up to €8 million (£5.4 million) to arrange a deal.

Speculation has also claimed that the player has recently shunned interest from Liverpool in order to remain available for a switch to Italy.
