Last info:

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus and Sevilla have reached an agreement for the transfer of Martin Caceres. He can be signed for 8,5 million euros, but Sevilla want a loan with binding ransom, and Juventus want only to have the right of ransom. Probably the trade will end with an expensive loan about 2 millions and a right of ransom in June about 6,5 millions.

Do you guys want him? He wasn't really a success last time around? :boh:
Caceres was always good, and now he's even better.

People should remember that he landed in one of the most pathetic Juve sides ever. And he had nothing to do with that. To me, he was one of the better players in a very unbalanced side.

The only thing is I wonder how he will do as a left back since he's right footed. Can he cross with his left foot?

I know that he was great as a LB at the Copa America but still I am skeptical about his value as a LB.

I like him as a player though, there is no doubt about it.

Well, it's a good question, but I think he's gonna do fine, to be honest.

And what's also cool about him is that he can slot into every other position in the defence in case of injuries.

This is a very good signing, in my opinion.

It means that if Licht goes down, he can move to the right and we won't see the goat :D

Have you heard of Lahm. He plays better in Lb than Rb. From the left he can cut in and shoot.

Zambrotta did pretty well as a righty playing as a lefty

have to say i liked Caceres, looked like he had matured into a fine player during the last coppa too

lets be honest...Caceres at LB with Chiellini Cb or Chiellini at LB with Caceres at LB is still preferable to having BArzagli or Bonnuci in there

The thing is I have very rarely seen a player with such a good second foot as Zambrotta, he was almost as good with his left than with his right. Zambrotta's don't come very often.

Even if he becomes for us half the player than Zambrotta was, I will be happy.

On Caceres, just how good is his left foot?

he has looked extremely comfotrable whenever i have seen him, like i say the bonus of Chiellini and Caceras in there ahead of a Barzagli or a Bonnuci is obvious anyway

Licht-Barzagli-Chiellini-Caceres

Oh yeah, this is going to be so brutal, strikers will run for their lives. Hopefully we won't get too many red cards :D

Pretty good I would say
That's not exactly what I had in mind :D
