Defenders got away with a lot more back in the 70s and 80s.
I love strong tackles, but 70s and 80s cant be repeated in the modern game

back then, with less focus on the physical part of soccer, all was well

but with the modern game, considering all the trauma's the legs get from those tackles, with all the games playd...
most creative players would play like half the games they do now due to consecutive tackle trauma

pirlo or messi would have 10 games or so.

i would like to see any 70ties butcher side take on mes que un cunt tho.

I think we will sign a top LB maybe in the summer once we sealed Caceres. LB is a critical position , and it doesn't make sense to gamble on someone who isn't playing LB as his natural position for this team. He will plug in the hole for now till end of the season, but then we will sign another LB and we will make Caceres, our 5th defender. Any first choice injured, he can come and cover. For 8million, thats a good price to have a reliable cover, especially when we have CL coming.
