Caceres is a good player, I haven't watched him so much in Sevilla, but from what I have heard from my friends who follow La liga close, they say he is very good.

A bit weird that many doesen't see him as a LB, strange because he plays there for the NT and also in some of the few matches I saw him in Sevilla, It's absolutely not a position that he isen't comfortable in. So the LB position is absolutely something he can handle,

The reason why I love this transfer, is because we get a good LB who can become great in Contes system, he love players with grinta who work their ass of, Caceres is fast and good in defence, and runs alot up and down, and this is perfect as we play 4-3-3.

And the second thing, what if Lichensteiner can't play? Then we have a very good option in Caceres. And he can also play CB if two of Chiellini/Barzagli/Bonucci is injured/suspended at the same time. We get a player who can play all over the defence.

Realistic he can take the LB in the starting eleven, but a player who can play all over they defence is gold worth for us. Many of the matches we only had one defender on the bench, De Ceglie :). With Caceres we might get a quality LB and also get Chiellini back to CB with Barzagli, and that could be a great CB partnership. Barzagli has been to good to bench for most of the defenders we could get ATM. And Chiellini in form is a beast as a CB.

I can't wait to see this officiall, great and smart move from Marotta and Conte

How's his crossing and/or attacking play using his left foot?
Don't know, But I trust the NT coach and Sevilla manager that he is capable doing a good job as a LB. I don't see him as a offensive wingback more of a defensive, but yeah ofcourse it is important that he can attack and cross to. Not sure about his left to be honest

I would have preferred Kolarov to Cacares.Cacares is good, very good defensively. He is completely versatile as a defender. Now that we get him, Giorgio can come back at his true position, centre slot.

My attitude to him is quite opposite =) When he had been preparing to come to us, and during the time he was a Juve player, I always heard about his unreliability in defence... and in some matches it has been proven ( the most vivid example is a 1:4 against Bayern). But as an attacker as for me he was really good. He was maybe the only one person in that Juve who could accelerate our attack, and sometimes, his right flang passes were the only way to score =)

I wonder...if there will be only a 6 month loan with opportunity to buy him in summer... what price will be in that case, if only for loan we have to pay 3m ( 3m Sevilla payed Barca for full transfer ) If we will have to pay for him something about 8-10 million in summer I will be totally shoked.
