We really need to be realistic and not get overly excited by our positive start. On paper at least, Milan and even Napoli have more quality in their starting 11, and they have players that can make the difference, components that we currently don't possess. We don't have a true goalscorer, are wasteful in goal, our defense lacks a true LB, and arguably another quality/potential WC CB. Our 3 key players are Pirlo, Vidal, and Marchisio. If any of them is injured, off form, or suspended our overall game suffers significantly, especially if that individual happens to be Pirlo. We have no natural replacement for him.

The bottom line is we are lacking key players in key areas, and even though we have done exceptionally well thus far, talk of the Scudetto is somewhat premature, particularly as we are lacking quality in key areas, and have a suspect defense, and a somewhat wasteful and toothless attack.
