This guy should be declared fit and score the winner against Barcelona :tuttosport::tuttosport:
Poetic justice! The young guy they let go because they were hanging on to their old defenders; Márquez and Puyol, who scored for us on both his debuts, and were he not with us, would probably command a starting spot and nearly any other club at RB or CB, but stays with us because he's a true Juventino and the new Montero!

Forza Pelado! :D

We need this guy back fit and healthy for next year, he was great for us when he first came back in 12/13 and then throughout our first CL foray back in 12/13; Bonucci and Barzagli did very well, and Evra had a decent final too. However having Martin at our disposal would be invaluable, particularly against such a South American laden opposition like Barca. Get well soon Martin! We need you for our next final! :)

Miss him so much, grande pelado!

Still one of my top 3 favorite juve players. Brings it every fucking game. His gift is his curse cuz he plays all out and sacrifices his body. Can't wait til he's back.

It'll be interesting to see how asamoah does in a back 4. Not sure that's his best position but we'll see
It was Caceres' normal and most natural position (along with RCB) before we moved to a 3-5-2 almost permanently under Conte. He's played there for Uruguay (though cycles between RB and LB depending on the health and form of Maxi Pereira (RB) and Jorge Fucile (LB), with Lugano ageing one can expect he'd slot into CB next to Godin soon enough), Barca, Juve pt. I, Sevilla and even for us this time round (specifically vs RM last year).

It's almost going to be like new signings getting him and Asabob back next season.

True Juve grinta, almost Juve's greatest personification, embodiment, and exemplar of that uniquely Juve trait in this squad. He's right up there with Chiellini, Bonucci (albeit Bonny's a bit different, but has Juve guts in spades) and Vidal, Martin is a worthy heir to Montero!

Caceres’ agent Fonseca will be in Turin on Tuesday to meet with Juve about extension

After the disappointment of the loss in the Champions League final, Juventus is looking to the future. On top of looking for new acquisitions, the bianconeri are looking to extend the contract of their current players one of which is Martin Caceres. Prior to his injury, the Uruguayan defender had become a key contributor and Juventus wants to extend his current deal which expires in 2016. The player's agent Daniel Fonseca will be in Turin on Tuesday to meet with Juve's brass to discuss the renewal, Caceres' future will likely be in bianconero.
