Secco was the worst thing ever happened in Juventus, the effects of calciopoli wouldnt be that bad, if it wasnt for him.
Never had a job before we gifted him our and will probably never find one again.

Marotta is also very limited, but he at least have a vague clue about how things work in Italy...

Marotta pretends to have a vague clue about his job. He just uses all the lingo but its all empty rhetoric. He is as bad if not worse than Secco despite having much more experience.

That's an exaggeration. Did Secco do anything right?
He didn't sell Trezeguet for no reason. He kept Giovinco in the squad after his loan. He bought Diego, Melo and Amauri who all had great seasons at their clubs prior to purchase. He was bad but not worse than Marotta IMO. Marotta has a very organised plan to worsen the quality of our squad over time, buying or rather loaning out mediocre players under the guise that they'll be bench players that will improve the depth of the squad. Loaning out so many crap players is only going to make us worse and waste money. Marotta has wasted an unbelievable amount of money in a very short amount of time while simultaneously lowering the quality of our players. He claims he has a master plan to lower wages and decrease the average age of the squad and hasn't acted on that plan. He just gave a 32 year old Pirlo a 3 year contract on fairly high wages.

You can't say use he didn't do as support :D Marotta didn't have us finish lower in the standings each season than the season before; bought Diego, overpaid and didn't have the right team for him to play in. Overpaid for Melo, and again, his poor season was in large part, due to his midfield partners. Amauri, overpaid :D, massive wages, he flopped hard and we're gonna have huge problems offloading and not making a massive loss.

Basically, everything "good" Secco did was a failure still.

Yes I can. I'd rather a director that did less and made less mistakes. Those good things were failures but it would have been difficult to predict they would flop. Its better over paying for good players than bad players like Martinez and loaning out half a teams worth of players. What is more costly? Overpaying 5m for Melo who is a good players? Or wasting 10m by loaning(rough estimate) crap players that offer nothing to the squad.

Marotta is a football terrorist he is one big bald mistake of a man.

Less mistakes? No way. No, no way.

Difficult to think Motta would've been a flaming bag of shit, when he was generally regarded as a pretty good signing. Aquilani was seen as a particularly astute signing. But Marotta will still be held responsible for their failures.

I think you should give him until January, just to be safe. You never know. And then at that point perhaps you can give him yet another window to amaze you with his GM skills.

Marotta is out of his depth imo, his mentality is that of a mid-table director, trying to find a bargain rather then invest in the quality this club deserves. When it comes to spending a substantial amount on a player, he has no concept of value, case in point, Martinez.

It's one thing to act shrewd when you're at a club that most believe hasn't got a large transfer budget, but when you're at a club like Juventus you need to realise that smaller clubs will try their hardest to screw you over for that little bit more then you ought to be paying for a player. Until Marotta grows a pair and improves his negotiating skills when it comes to the big players, we are always going to be looked over by the likes of the Aguero and Tevez.
