The Irony here is that huge parts of the LGBTQ community hate the "rainbow-washing" shit big companies do at times anyway. They know they do it just to try and cash in on them. They aren't retarded.
Yeah but it's worth it for all the social media content of people losing their minds thinking the world's gonna end because of some clothes with rainbows on them

There's also a weird peer pressure where people suddenly get judged by omission -- by what they don't do -- rather than by the things they do, which is insane.

We don't have to embrace eveything. It's kinda lame. We're a football club, a sporting institution, so we don't need to immerse oursleves in social and political movements.

How about we focus on actually being good and relevant where it actually matters, on the field of play, for a change?! Just a thought.
