Because supporting BLM is probably net profitable while supporting hong kong protestors might lose us all those potential chinese viewers? morality has nothing to do with it.

Nobody said anything about morality. Using Juventus' name to make political statements can harm the club.

HK fanclub got banned for torturing Chinese officials in their basement then? Or voicing their opinion which is exactly what McKenny did?

The political statement that there was prevalent structural racism in the US which is a major political accusation of the respective country and by 'supporting his commitment' the club basically signed this statement which should be harmful to the club's reputation among the not mentally ill american target audience. Unless the club doesn't want that audience, of course...
