I don't know it, just my belief.

And if we buy Bernadeschi and Costa, I think the plan would be to use them as starters. If we're going to use 4-2-3-1, I believe Max will prefer to use actual wingers - as excellent as Mandzukic was last season.
Not just that, there is a certain trend that this management have that you can almost predict what will they do next.

For example every single season ever since marotta came here he bought an attacker and sold another in every transfer window:

- 16/17 we sold morata and Zaza (loaned out but he was practically sold to Valencia), we brought Higuain.

- 15/16 we let go of Tevez and Llorente and brought Dybala and Mandzukic.

- 14/15 we sold Vucinic, Quagliarella, Immobile Giovinco and brought Morata.

- 13/14 we sold Matri and brought Tevez.

And we tend to do the complete opposite with our 2 center backs, we hardly sell anyone of them (the only one I can think of who was somewhat of a starter and we sold is Ogbonna).

That's why it's isn't hard to predict what will happen next (when there were rumors this summer of bonucci leaving personally I thought that's it's extremely unlikely to happen).

I think all that might just be coincidental and not part of a strategy

Marotta already confirmed that Mandzukic will stay. He's not going anywhere as he is an important part of this team.
You believe what Beppe says? :D

What do all those transfers have to do with a potential sell of Mandzukic?

I can't see it.

Morata HAD to go back, Zaza was just a back up, Tevez wanted to leave, Llorente wasn't good enough anymore.

Morata for the likes of Quags was needed upgrade just like Tevez for Matri.

Non of that has to do with Mandzu.

:D I don't but why would he lie about Madzukic staying. Also:

Juventus Football Club is delighted to announce that Mario Mandzukic has renewed his contract until 30 June 2020, extending a journey that began in July 2015.

Power, perseverance and a penchant for decisive goals in the big moments have seen the imposing Croatian become an indispensable member of a Juventus side that has lifted consecutive domestic doubles and an Italian Super Cup since he arrived in Turin.

It was Mario’s trademark back-post finish against Monaco in the Champions League semi-finals that put Juve’s place in Cardiff beyond doubt last month, and with the number 17’s black and white adventure set to continue for at least another three seasons, the best is yet to come in the immediate and the long term for both parties.

All in all I really don't understand where you have come up with this idea of him leaving.

I don't think it will happen, but it wouldn't surprise me either if someone came with an offer of 25-30M and we accepted.

Same, I think there's a good chance he'll be sold. He won't be happy with a bench role.
When Higuain joined last year we all expected him to hit the bench, and he was benched only few months! I don't thin Berna can bench him! He's just too good! We need a hardworker in our team and Allegri will find him a position!

This guy has no business in starting 11. He is an insult as striker and an eyesore as winger.

Romantics might disagree but they liked Matri and Pepe too.
that CL final goal from him was truly irritating to eyes, hope I never have to see that again

on a more serious note, I don't think this guy will be benched. he'll rest more than last season, sure, but when we have important CL games or top table clashes in Serie A, I bet that he's still there starting
