It's pretty funny. Khedira's thread doesn't have a single comment in it about how he played a good match. But if he played a poor one, there would be 3 pages of posts saying he's washed up and we should sell him. :D
So very true. Khedira quietly had a solid game. But, you could argue, Khedira's role is all about quiet games of him being a strong midfield presence that you don't see making mistakes. Khedira's position isn't one of too much glory so when he has good games its because he's been quietly working behind the scenes. When his position has a bad game, it's glaring, obvious mistakes.

Khedira is a quality player, as long as you dont expect him to be a creative force in midfield. Put him as a holding midfielder an he will do just fine.

What's funny is your knee-jerk reaction every time this or that player has a decent game, pointing out how people used to criticize their sh!tty displays. Like, as if it's some sort of a double-standard, hypocrisy or whatever. What you don't seem to get is that, we're talking about Juventus here. Every game is a must-win. The players are supposed to be at their best "every single game". They're getting paid shi!tloads of money for that. Although it's perfectly okay for them to have a sub-par game every now and then, it sure as sh!t is not acceptable to be piss poor for a long stretch and as a result bring the whole team's performance down.

We should sell him to China though, right. :3::
I've always liked Mandzukic. He has excellent statistics and incredible workrate. It's hard not to like him.

But imo he also has games where his workrate hurt us. Especially when he's supposed to be our deep striker upfront.

Can we just not play him as our defensive midfielder, he somewhat suits that position considering his workrate and just how he totally bullys the opposition. Love this guy, it's not the first nor last performance where you can't help but think how lucky or grateful we are to have him.

have to agree with you. I guess he is a legit candidate for midfield. He won every single aerial balls in midfield today. Pjanic-Marchisio-Mandzukic ftw.
