Well this certainly makes our potential attacking lineups more interesting, and brings up many questions regarding the direction our mercato will take from here. I've not seen enough of him to have a real opinion but it at least means we'll not be too bored over the next wee bit :D

I like how people immediatly consider Mandzukic to be a starter, but forget about the huge sum we payed for Dybala

but Dybala is old news offcourse, thats more then a week ago

Dybala will be a starter I think because Mandukic is not here to play support striker. Dybala will be our number 10. If anything I think Mandzukic might put Morata on the bench because of his build up play and experience. I think Juve might want an experienced physical guy upfront so defenders are occupied and dont bully Dybala. Mandzukic is great at holding the ball up and drawing attention then sending his teammate through.

I hope Morata gets playing time and maybe at times we can play all three or try Mandzukic-Morata

Happy with this signing. He's going to do everything that Llorente was supposed to and more. You want Morata leading our attack next season though.

Putting Morata on the bench would be horrible, cause he has talent to become quite a bit better then Mandzukic.

Morata should get the call whenever Allegri isnt absolutely certain that Mandzukic would be better.

I agree. Morata should at least start most Serie A games but I really think Mandzukic is going to end up being the starter. U know how it is in Italy with young players and Mandzukic gives a lot to the team. I think Allegri is going to want him in the team more often than not.. he wants a leader in the attack and in that sense Mandzukic will take Tevezs leadership role with Dybala taking Tevezs position on the field

Mario :tuttosport:

I have wanted him for years, since he scored that goal against Italy in Euro 2012. :tuttosport:

He bagged 20 in 42 games for Atleti this season
26 in 48 the season before for Munich.

I think thats pretty good. also he only played 1900 min in La Liga which is not that much. Llorente and Morata had about the same amount of playing time.
Morata is still young, he will only improve. He will become a wc forward.

Wow, that was fast, a player thread already..

We still have Llorente too, and Zaza still may come. If Tevez leaves, then we definitely need Berardi. With Berardi, we can mix the front line with so many combinations.

Even the 4-3-3 with Dybala- Morata/Mario- Berardi.

Morata is already better than Mandzukic.

Morata is a fixed starter... Mandzukic and Dybala will fight for a position.

But now it's really hard to understand why would we bring Zaza.

Yeah I think he will at worst be a quality 3rd striker to come in andcause havoc physically and pressing and at best he will fit in well and learn a lot from our style of play. plus he has been coached by simeone so he is prepared for what we do here in forms of intensity bth on the field but also in prep
