From what I'm reading, sounds like he was once again really frustrating offensively.
Offensively, defensively, mentally, socially, aesthetically, effervescently. This was a game to forget.

Doesn't really hold any sway on his inclusion for future games, however, but the performance and type of game suggested DC or Berna earlier. It's pretty typical of us to go with the experienced players in games where we need a safer result though.

He was shite, but he was kept on the field solely to be extra aireal threat in the box, nothing else. Thats why Costa came in for De Sciglio, and Mandzu changed to the right wing, to add the kind of threat he accomplished last Sporting game with Costa on the left.

But yeah he was so useless in every way this game that he should be questionned on starting if this happens again.

He should be nothing more than a super sub for this team at this point. There are two superior wingers sitting on the bench waiting to get their chance while this guy fraudulently waltz his way into the starting eleven for doing a job of a glorified LWB. And we have his stupid fanboys bashing Higuaín for actually being productive. The sooner he is benched, the more effective and fluid our wing play is going to be. Don't give me this aerial threat bullshit. Let's field some proper wingers first.

:agree: Let's buy some proper wingers and we can field them.

Until then, play Mandzu over the linerunner.

Aerial threat isn't bullshit, it's a fact.

This, and long balls to escape pressure.

For a team that keeps players on the field as aerial threats why don’t we start to maximize that ability by playing players that can actually cross otherwise the purpose is useless.

A linerunner that can provide WC crosses to our offense and more of an offensive threat. Yes pls

JGC is being a top 3 Motm almost every single game this season so even when I also get quite frustrated with his headless choice sometimes, IMO he's one of the best players for us in this season so far
All I'm saying is he could at any time turn into the Cuadrado from the end of last season. If we build ourselves up to rely on him regularly, it can backfire.

I was going to ask the people who prefer Mandzukic over Costa what kind of football they want to see, but my question has already been answered:

You would rather have us play outdated hoofball than actually move on with the rest of the football world and a play fluid passing game or even a counterattacking game.

The football that we play looks like that from a third tier English club. We pass the ball around aimlessly in our own half before punting it to the big men up top.

Riding Cuads & Higgy is basically our way to stay in all competitions until spring. Then typically Max sorts shit out, the team starts gunning and Cuads became not so useful, because there is no need in hero-ball. So yeah, he is gonna turn to poop come spring, it's inevitable.

Mandzukic: "It has been a big honour for me to play for this great club 💯 times. With respect for its rich history, for Juve fans in Italy and around the globe and for my great teammates, I will continue giving my best in each game and I hope to celebrate many more wins and trophies with you in#Bianconerijersey."

When will you guys realize that I argue against Mandzukic playing on the left wing not because I don't love his fighting spirit, but because we have other players that are more suited to that position.
