So what? Who is the alternative? I Rather play him for his grinta, his quick lay offs and his headers, before i play a glued-to-the-line Costa, fireing in his 50 random crosses per game for whoever get's his head to it. A Costa that has been figured out to be a pure pacedemon before even joining us.

Head down, Beat man, run to corner flag, cross (no matter if someone is in the box or not...) Much creativity. Most brainless player in the current squad.
Costa has (per 90 minutes played) more goals, more assists, more successful passes, more key passes, and creates more chances than Mandzukic :numnum:

You are so dishonest. Costa was one of our best players against Barcelona. He provides speed and directness. He also takes some of the creative burden off Dybala. Mandzukic is a good striker and target man, but he doesn't cut it as a winger. He's too slow and easy to defend against.

Instead of supporting all our players and wanting what is best for the team, you have a vendetta against certain players (Costa) while blindly supporting others (Mandzukic). I want what is best for Juventus, and playing a real winger like Costa is what is best for us.

he sucks both as striker and as winger, to be honest. he who thinks otherwise is fooling himself because of sentimental reasons. if we had to sell him now, there is no way a top class team will make an offer but likes west ham and go ahead eagles.

Mandzukic wants 'old' Juventus role
By Football Italia staff

Mario Mandzukic is prompting the tactical shift at Juventus, it’s reported, as he no longer wants to be sacrificed as a left-sided winger.

The Croatia international wants to be ready for the centre-forward role at the World Cup next summer and feels his time in Turin is not being used wisely.

According to Tuttosport, Mandzukic has asked Max Allegri to get back to being a striker.

He is tired of making sacrifices and chasing opponents up and down the left flank.

This was also reportedly behind the fact he was benched for the showdown with Barcelona in the Champions League this week, which was a particular surprise to the fans, who unveiled a huge banner depicting his face before kick-off.

Allegri could test the 3-4-2-1 formation against Crotone tomorrow with Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala supporting Gonzalo Higuain.

He wants to get back to sucking ass being a CF. Running everywere except the box, missing chances left and right.

Sounds like typical Allegri. Intimidated by his players.

He gave his best performances last season after a period on the bench. He has maybe been a bit complacent this season and didn't seem to be working as hard as usual. Hopefully being on the bench will get him back to last season's levels.

You mean to tell me that benching a player can be good for him? :sarcasm:
