How can a deal be off if it was never on to begin with? I mean it's still Juve, impossible is nothing. But the chances were and are still very slim, so don't get all hyped up, just to be let down (again). One being the fact that I don't think Bayern is ready to party ways with him just yet. Yes he hasn't had a good time in Munich so far, but he is still one of the most talented Germans out there, very young too. The fans are already angry about letting Kroos and now Schweinsteiger go, they fault KHR and Pep for selling all the German internationals and therefore losing the identity of the club. The transfer of Götze wouldn't sit well with the fans therefore. Two, I don't know if Götze himself would really want to come here. I mean the last season has done wonders for us, no doubt about it. Juve is finally getting some credit and recognition outside of Italy, that hasn't been the case in many many years. All the Scudetti didn't help, only the CL run last year. People outside of Italy, especially in Germany, don't really rate Serie A, you guys know that. But Germany is really special in that regard. I know that in his last season in Dortmund, Mario would have never come to Juventus. I hope that has changed by now, but I seriously doubt it if there are other offers incoming. I could see him leave for Juve just for the fact that he is not happy in Munich, but as soon as the EPL clubs and such come knocking, I am pretty sure these will be more attractive for him personally tbh. I don't even know if I want to be wrong about this, he is certainly not as good as people around here talk about him, at least he hasn't been in the last 2 years. And honestly, I don't see Beppe pressuring Bayern in only selling Götze to us because of Vidal. I am pretty sure the deals would be seperate and therefore other bidders would be welcome. Let's play the waiting game though...
