I want results and results are not being made with future. The results are made with prooven players not with youngsters that shit in their panties everytime they start the game. And that is what "our future" does in 90% of matches and thats why we are out in CL....and we fight for 3. place in SerieA. Real Madrid also tryed to play with future and their season had a crash-down last night,so they are saying: "future...Kiss my ass,we are bringing Samuel". Does Milan plays with "Future"? Does Monaco play with "future"? Does "Depor" play with "Future"?

I prefer to think more long-term. I'd rather not win anything for another two years and build a team that will be strong for the next decade.

who says youn guns can't bring results?look at ajax,they've had two great seasons now with such a young core of players,and they've done it consistently over the last century.

we didn't lose in CL because of our youngsters.if anything miccoli and maresca didn't get alot of playing time-our "stars" did- and when they did play,eg. against olympiakos,they've done a bloddy good job.same thing in serie a.they've been a bright spark in our season(especially maresca) and something that we're all able to look forward to seeing next season,while our 'stars' buffon,del piero,trezeguet,thuram and nedved(the 5 biggest players in the club) have been disappointing,some even horrible.

juve bought and played "future" some 10 seasons ago when they bought a 20 year old del piero,and what he turned out to be was bigger than any of our "stars",bigger than zidane or deschamps.fast forward to this season's milan,which bought "future" worth some 5m.and that "future" has made them serie a champions.was kaka unproven?yes.young?yes.and he will be doing for milan what nedved did for us last season,only for much much longer.

Kaka is a better player in his 19 than maresca+miccoli will ever be....whole world knew that even when he was 17 when I saw him first time. Kaka is class,something Miccoli isnt. Kaka plays great against every big team....Miccoli plays good against "Olympiacos" Empoli.....even he can do shit against Lecce. Kaka pushed out Rui.....Miccoli pushed his but on the bench even when DP was injured. If you want a good youngster....buy Diego....he is a DR.Football for Miccoli&Maresca.

I support Barca......cuz Davids plays there and they play beautifull football......beautifull football that we cannot play cuz we have shit players. And Im not talking about DP,Neddy,Buffon,Zambo,Thuram,Tudor,Tach.....the rest are well known

Well, the thing is that you need the right mixture IMO! With leaders like Del Piero, Thuram, Nedved, Tacchinardi and young players like Maresca, maybe Mexes, Zambrotta, maybe Gilardino..........Teams which have this mixture are always on top!

Ronaldinho is very technical yes, and entertaining to watch, but thats it, he isnt very effective, chooses some hopeless solutions quite often!, Totti is a perfect example of what Ronaldinho never will be.

Del Piero at his peak was better than the way Zidane played for us. Compared to his ability, Zidane was nothing special for us IMHO

That's not true. Kaka was hardly a big hot prospect the same way players like Diego and Cavenaghi are.

since we're talking about youth players here,i was naturally talking about the young del piero up to around 99.till then he was bigger than zidane.he was basically the star of the team while zidane was a relative unkown until WC98,and it wasn't till 2000 that he was touted as the best player in the world.

No....he was quite known in SaoPaulo....and unknown players arent bought for 5mil. And when you play with 17 in first11 in one of the best teams in Brazil.-...I would call that a hot-prospect. And a place in WC squad.....quite enough
