hwat is your opinion about verratti's potential, and the possibility we could miss out on him because this psg saga ?
I think his talent is overrated, even though it does not mean he's not good. Personally I would like to sign him as we need a sub for Pirlo next season with so many games ahead, but I still believe that Marotta is doing a great job with standing by his offer, not being affected with the whole PSG fiasco.

just hope not to regret this move.. but it's not like he will go to a top team or top league or something so i guess we can bounce for him if he proved to be that good in PSG.

Agreed, Verratti although full of potential has had one protagonist season in serie B is still 19 and all of a sudden has a 12-13m price tag? GTFO...I'm happy Marotta is sticking with his guns with this guy. He doesn't deserve that price tag nor does he deserve to play with juve if he accepts psg. Psg are not a big club in the world. Ligue 1 doesn't even come close to serie a let alone any top league.

This.

His agent also said that they are taking in consideration what the player wants. If he chooses to go to psg... then that is his own doom.

IMO he shoudl stay and fare in serie A ...not jumping steps and right away going to a first team without really justifying his talent.

If he is interested in getting better and learning...at the very least he should stay in pescara.

I'm getting the impression the agent isnt really concerned about the player, but his cut of the transfer, and is trying to persuade him to accept psg.

19 years old is to young to move abroad, period. yeah sometimes talent drags the player trough, but often a big potential gets wasted

Yes I agree that his agent will play a big role in his final decision whether it's helping Verratti or himself we'll have to wait and see I guess but I do think this transfer saga for a 1 year wonder in serie b is dragging on way to long. Again not questioning his talent and potential but he hasn't earned us price tag nor does he deserve to be used in a bidding war. Juve are doing the right thing and at the end of the day I hope the player does as well. I just think its funny how pescara are doing everything possible to get juve to raise their price. Going out to the media and slamming juve for not raising their price is just juvenile and can't wait for us to meet them this season.
