This move would be great if Verratti gets some Champions League experience from PSG and then runs down his contract when he's ready to move to Juve, alla Fabregas or Pique. But the hope is that he doesn't get attached to PSG.

Shame that another promising player will leave Italy.

Can't blame any Italian team for not signing him, though, as they can't afford to gamble that amount of money just now.

That goes for Juve, too, particularly when they aren't exactly short of midfield options.

There you go. Relax.

Do you give points on a successful transfer, regardless of the cost?
Marotta had the chance to close this deal a long time ago, way before PSG come with these crazy numbers.

Bare in mind that the initial offer was 1.5M + co-won Troisi + co-won Buoy. I didn't go trough because of fucking Raiola.

So Pescara wanted 3M + co-won Troisi. And Marotta didn't want to pay, trying to find a youth player to replace Buoy.

To me it looks like it would be a good piece of business. We all are seeing how Marotta has money to work with. He was just stingy.

So yes, he messed it up for the first time in this mercato. This kid was in the Italian NT and is a great promising young player, with characteristics very rare nowadays - intelligence and creativity.

Now the only way to get him is being very agressive. Offer 4/5M + half Troisi for his co-own to Pescara; tell the kid he is joining Juve anyway.

But honestly I dont know if its worthy, its a lot of money for a young kid. The initial agreement was perfect.

Anyway, if they asked for a few days to think, maybe it's just to talk to Juve and see if anything else can be done.

First of all, none of those figures are reliable. They are all media speculation. To speak as if you know for sure that he offered so much is stupid.

Second, by admitting that Raiola fucked it, you also have to admit that Marotta didn't have a hand in it, and thus was not responsible for it.

Third, Troisi is not a Juve player. Not yet. How can he be used in the negotiations?

Lastly, he was not a necessity. He wasn't even gonna play for us. You're being unreasonable by going so far in crucifying Marotta for this.
