Chelsea could be making a January move for Juventus outcast Marco Motta, as the Italian club look to off-load him in the summer.
Motta moved to Juventus after the Turin club took him on loan in the 2010/2011 season however the 25-year-old has failed to make a single appearance for Juventus this season and in order to free up space for new arrivals, manager Antonio Conte is keen to move the player on, with reports in italy suggesting that Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is keen on the midfielder.
Juventus have been linked with a number of different players capable of playing in Motta’s position and it seems that the player is keen on a move to Premier League according to Italian football pundits, with Motta reportedly having to take a pay cut to move to another Italy club, English clubs have a big appeal to him.
Motta is thought to be available at £5 million, however Juventus are thought to be extremely interested in signing Chelsea defender Alex and a swap deal involving Motta could be agreed.
