..

He's a fanatastic player. He has a great stamina, never gives up, has the fighting spirit. He'll be the new Di Livio. I'm sure he'll be a success.

Great talent great speed a complete player the right player for Juve but never at the expense of Camo coz Camo is irreplaceble
How is Camo irreplaceable? Marchionni is the better player, and younger. Furthermore, there are plenty of players who are much better than Camo and would do better in our squad. Buffon is the only irreplaceable player in our squad (over the past three years).

I agree that every player has their price, but I think there are a few players who are irreplaceable. Part of replacing a star player is finding a player just as good, and having a team that's willing to sell. Ask Arsenal how replaceable Vieira is. They can't find anyone who will sell them a midfielder the caliber of Vieira, and no player Vieira's caliber is begging Arsenal to buy them.

Thats not about bein irreplaceble, its about arsenal directors selling before thinking! Look at Juve's history, important players have been shipped off (Zizou,Vialli & Baggio etc) but Moggi & co have always had replacements.

I state again, no player is irreplaceble! If buffon retires are Juve supposed to close up shop because they dont have a player of his calibre?

One thing i will say - You never go broke making a profit!

I said that coz I think that Camo offers a lot to the team & he is talented & I don't want to see him out of the squad.Anyway of ourse no player is irreplaceble we replace ZIZOU by Nedved & Neddy did a great work.I was just exagerating man:p .

Boo, Buffon isn't irreplaceable.
Not at the moment, but if you look over the past three years, he's been our most consistent and important player. Since he's been out, and Abiatti has shown his strength, it seems like Buffon isn't as necessary, but I think that we'll be glad to have kept him, in the next year or two when he's stopping PK's in the CL final...

yeah, and anyways, we can try him to see how he does here,

of he proves to be a great choice, we can then get rid of camo ( i really like how camo plays but i think is time to prove something new in that department, aas u can see we are getting out of ideas lately)

nedved isnt up to it at the top level anymore, just my opinion mind....
His goal today against Sampdoria as well as the strike against Bremen...

I've been wanting to counter this post for some time.

Also, he works hard for the team every time he plays and he earned us that very important freekick against Inter from which Del Piero scored.

4 goals for him now this season, and I'm sure there will be more still to come.

He's not the Nedved of two seasons ago but he's still a great player!!

Marchionni can't, even if he played his best every game, fill his shoes.

Marchionni to aid Juve
Thursday 4 May, 2006

Channel4.com wrote:

Parma’s Marco Marchionni is looking to do Juventus – his future club – a favour at the weekend by stopping Milan.

The Bianconeri lead the Milanese giants by three points with only two games left and Marchionni, who has already agreed a four-year contract with the Turin giants, is hoping to give the Old Lady a helping hand to this term’s title.

“Juventus have a 90 per cent chance of retaining Lo Scudetto,” stated the right-sided midfielder.

“My primary objective is to do well for Parma in a game which will be my last at the Stadio Tardini for the club. I want to leave a good memory.

“However, if I did help to also stop Milan then it wouldn’t exactly be a bad way to arrive in Turin,” he continued.

“A lot of clubs wanted me but Juventus were the only ones who came to get me. I’ll be at their disposal from June and I want to convince them of my ability.”

Marchionni, whose current contract expires at the end of this term, has enjoyed an impressive campaign and is a late contender to make the World Cup squad.

“I’ll look to keep believing in this fairytale until May 15 [when the squad is announced],” he explained. “I’m in good shape.”
