Doesn't matter Salv, Esti should be send back. He didn't convince in every position he played so far.

And same can be said about Elia but that's another discussion.
I'm not really interested in the comparison to Elia, but I'll have to try and sell Estigarribia instead.

Overall, I think he has been fine. He's had decent games against Genoa, Napoli (twice), Roma (twice). The Parma and Milan games were bad for him, admittedly, but he's done fine for someone without consistent game time. Usually it takes players a while to properly adapt to a new (tougher) league when they are a guaranteed starter, Esti isn't even that at Juve.

He's cheap to keep (€0.5m a year wages and a small buyout clause), he doesn't complain and gets on with his job and works hard. 24 years old so some room for a bit more growth. You can't really ask for much more from a squad player can you?

for the suggested price, yes I am fine with it...and yes of course he will get better with experience and more coaching.
I doubt it bro but if he stays for Juve's sake i hope he does!

Yes you can, he is playing at Juve not at Catania or something. Decent games... Do you want more decent games next year or do you want good games when we play in europe aswell?
Esti was a starter at some of the games you mentioned and yes it takes time to adapt. I agree but did you see him develop much later on in the season?
Look i'm not saying that he sucks, actually i love his work rate, but his position is a critical one so we need him to step up his game when asked to.
So yes we can ask alot more from a squad player.

It looks like you have unrealistic ambitions for a squad player at this moment in time for this club. Remember, this is our first season back from the consecutive 7th place finishes, we're still building a strong squad. I know you're not saying he sucks, but I think he's useful enough to be a player that we can call on if someone needs a rest next season, and I think there is still room to improve.

It's difficult to see real development when a player isn't getting regular games, so I think it's hard to say what he specifically improved, but he does look a lot more in tune with the team than early in the season. His teammates find it easier to pass the ball to him now because of the way he positions himself. A solid player that will cover the entire left flank is useful anyway, but he's not been bad like some of the exaggerated nonsense I've seen lately would suggest.

I'm not really sure about him getting better. He seems to be pretty limited in abilities. One thing though is that if he can do what he does well, sprint, beat his man and cross, consistently, then he can be a decent squad player as suggested. But my hope is that people like Pepe and Giac be our squad players and we improve our first team adequately.

Juve trying to loan him again for next season too
What's the buyout clause on him now?

I think he wasn't very effective because he limited his role to man-marking Maggio, which he did well. Other than that he didn't really defend as a left-back nor did he commit to attack. I think he has more potential than what he showed and should do more than the role assigned to him the more he grows as a player.

So he isn't good enough for 352...he isn't good enough for 433 either...and I wouldn't trust him in 442. So where should he play?

Nowhere near Juve, I can tell you that much!

Good news, I like him. A great squad player that is capable of filling various roles, and Conte probably loves his tactical awareness. He still needs to work on his technique though, specially shooting/finishing
