In most sport sites, heck even PES Giaccherini is listed as SS, he is a SS and when we got him, most of the articles mentioned him as a forward.
We can try and turn him into a winger now. heck even CB, if our defense fails as usual and he might work well, but up untill now, he was a SS just like Martinez and Giovinco.
I believe we bought him as an option for the 4-3-3 alternative, when he can play in the forward trident, better than Estig or Elia.
Its nice to have options and anyway its nice that they (Giacche+EstiG) are not meant to be starters.

He's versatile, and used to being an attacker in wide areas left or right. When Conte speaks (directly or indirectly) about Giaccherini or Elia he is speaking about players who can beat their man one on one, so we know what he is expecting of him tactically.

He expects them to attack, dribble and create spectacle.
Thats what the board has ordered him and Marotta to do in order to attract more fans and make more income from tickets.

But without the proper support from classy defenders, i expect them to concede even more goals than before...

True, we will score more, as we calibrate the team for that, this will help the tickets income and the Agnelli will be pleased out of the milking, and will spend all of our budget to buy new SSs and CMs next year, thus avoiding to spend on defenders for yet another year...
