I want to see him in his natural position as a striker/CF though. He's not a winger but he has kept quiet and has worked his socks off. Juve material in that regard.

It certainly is. I'd much prefer to keep the co-own going for one more year, and then either bring him back if we think he'd fit in at Juve, or cash in on him for much more if we didn't. Our current strike force is really the oldest part of our team. Even Llorente is almost 29. I'd like to have Immobile, Boakye, Gabbiadini, Berardi, Zaza still on our books for at least a year or two, in hopes that 2 or 3 will pan out for us, and the rest will make us a tidy profit.

The issue is people easily confuse the hope of youthful promise and potential for reality. How many Juve starting forwards can you count that were scouted as 19-year-old prodigies in the past 20 years?

That's not selling Juve players short. That's using years of past club history to directly predict future results.

Very interesting performance from him last night. Scored, hit the crossbar, was involved in the own goal scored by Barzagli. A good showing from him, hopefully he keeps up this good form til the end of the season. Perhaps he might be our player in 2014/15.
