This is ridiculous. Alen, if you are in contact with the D, why wouldn't they lynch you? Worse comes to worse, lets say you are lying, they lynch a powerful C. It doesn't add up, the G's cannot be that dumb. Assuming what you are saying is true.

They probably will. Me or Zach (if Zach is a C). Actually, they most probably will because I hope the jailer will jail the D, so that the D can't be whacked.

JAILER, do not jail anyone right now. Wait for the detective to go public.
Wouldn't it be smarter for the D to stay hidden? They wouldn't whack Zach, its pointless.

So you have an excuse to say you all knew his role when he becomes whack target? Instead of him being whacked tonight if only you know his role? Because really, I'm trying to get this logic, whats the urgent practical need to give away ones trump card like that TODAY? The immediate practical need for this is? Because D might aswell out himself when he investigates a G, but now, the gain is?
There are 17 civilians left. The Gs know I'm not the detective. That leaves 16. They know that Zach isn't the detective, because Zach would have said so if he was, when he was about to get lynched.
That leaves us with a small 1:15 chance for the Gs to whack the detective. But if they got the jailer and the lawyer, what's the guarantee that they won't get the D?

If the D goes public, the jailer will put him in jail tonight. Tomorrow the BG will protect him. That gives us at least 2 days to find a G.

In any case, we will know Zach's role by tonight, and we must make sure that the D is protected.

And you think the best way to go about things is for the D to out himself prematurely? They can as easily randomly whack the BG if this scenario happens, and the Ds lifespan stands still on 2 nights (to nights he is more likely to investigates Cs then Gs according to odds). Above plan is bit dangerous, its better off to use middle man instead of be public, then again you are the only possible middle man, and its bad enough you know the D, knowing the rest will be game over if you are recruited right now, or will be, not a scenario I'm keen on seeing happen at all.

Seriously, your above scenario doesnt make practical sense to me at all.

Why would the D reveal himself to anyone? It is nonsensical, either they are a complete amateur or Alen is talking shit. As Osman said, if you are recruited the C's are fucked.

FFS  "I am the detective. I investigated Alen yesterday. He is a civilian. I investigated Zach today. Kate will tell me Zach's role tonight." Alen picks me of all people to play D?
