Well, imagine a situation when the jailer knows nothing. He jails the BG. The D went public. Who protects the D
Yeah missed that

It can be solved by asking the Jailer to not jail anyone the day the D reveals himself. He can then contact the D in PM, the D should not expose the identity of the BG anyway since the Jailer can be recruited latter on. From that point the D will decide on who to Jail. Make sense?

Yes and no.
No because Snobist is probably the BG and we don't want both main C roles to be known to the Gs :D

Did anyone else realize that Alen is trying to get Snobist whacked
I'm interested how did you come to the conclusion. If anything, I'm trying not to get him lynched.

Pushing the idea that he's the BG so that Gs suspect he has a special role.

Perhaps you're a simple C that's trying to fuck with noob Gs or you are fucking with Snobist like good old the Alen that made the meeting between Badass and Bezzy possible.

Or you could just be a G in disguise. Tsk tsk

If I'm pushing the idea that he's the BG, how can that result with the Gs whacking him? Quite the opposite, they'll assume that the BG will protect himself and they will go after someone else.

They won't necessarily think he's the BG but that he's a special role C. Besides, wouldn't it be a bad thing for the Cs if the G's knew who the BG was so early in the game?

It's all mental wank anyway.

So me saying that I think he's the BG will make them think he's a special role, but not BG?
Makes no sense.

Before I got jailed, he was posting all kind of shit and he was en route to being lynched. If it wasn't for Matt and Voller catching the thingy with Mr. Chocolate and Hoori's offline status, I bet that you'd have lynched Snobist.

I was never gonna vote for Snobist. The dude reeks of absolute noob C at least so far.

I simply don't understand why you'd try to save him from getting lynched. It'd be more believable if you were trying to get him investigated because you think he's a G/Special C.

I went through the entire thread. All I have are weak hunches, about folks who seem different than their usual C selves.

All we have is the voting. If Hoori and Mr. Chocolate are both Cs, it gives us nothing, except more confusion. The only way we'd have known something from the voting is if Chocolate was a G and the lawyer didn't save him.
Now we can hope the D investigated a G. If not, we have nothing to go by.

It's pretty much the same. But if I have to choose which of the two goes public, I'd go with the BG.
The Gs will not know that the person who is jailed is the BG. They will assume that the D is being protected (because the BG has contacted the D after the D went public) and will not potentially waste a whack on the D.

The problem with the D revealing himself instead of the BG is if the Gs make a lucky pick and whack the BG (while he's protecting the D) then they will take out the D the next day. So you lose two sure trusted Cs.

It can go the other way around and they get lucky and whack the D (if the BG isnprotecting himself). So theoretically the CS lose one day of investigation.

Which one is worse?

the D is more important than the BG but we need a BG because the D can’t get jailed every day.

Either you are trying hard to deflect attention from someone thinking you can manage to escape lynching with your wits or you are trying to gauge out the noob special roles if there are any.

Your actions make no sense from a civilian perspective.

My best guess is the recruiter was at risk of getting lynched in a moment of panic they recruited you because the way you have been posting is very different pre and post jail.

Yes the D is more important but if you lose the BG then you have the D for one more day, unless he gets jailed. Can he investigate on the day he's jailed?

@piotrr, can recruiting happen on the first day?

Impossible.
The recruiter can do his job after deadline. Mr. Chocolate or Hoori, assuming one of them is the recruiter, could not recruit me before deadline. After it, once they survived, they had no reason to recruit.
