On the other hand "I'm too experienced to be so stupid" is slowly becoming a very handy excuse for more experienced players.
Why would I or Alen attract attention to ourselves in the last minute on day 1 if we were G's for any other reason than to save a fellow G?

You're right. I was assuming that X is a C and that everyone else thought so too, so your actions were inexplicable to me. My theory was that you wanted to do what is actually happening now: create a situation of one C against the other, so that when one C died, the other would follow the next day. That could still be the reality imo. i.e. X and I are Cs and one or both of you are Gs
Or X is actually a G, and both of you are Cs. Harder to believe though.
