I've been a G lots of time and I know how the recruiting goes.
First of all, it rarely happens before day 3 or day 4. I didn't care much about recruiting an experienced player. I wanted the lawyer or the jailer, or perhaps someone whose C role was confirmed by the D.
An early recruitment happens only when the recruiter risks lynching. In that case the Gs give 3 names of experienced players and they have a 1/3 chance to be recruited, in case they're not specials.

And I never wanted to be recruited. When I'm a normal C, I only try to survive longer.
