I don't think it's realistic to think the D could sway everyone's votes without outing themselves, which would be a horrible choice at this point.

It's not a horrible choice imo. BG and jailer are alive (latter is hopefully not recruited) so we can protect him/her for 2-3 more days.

Now it's too late for his/her outing himself though but i'd like to think that he/she was sensible enough to investigate Fred last night and we are lucky enough to have found another g in Fred

One good thing about killing Fred is that even if he's a c, we'll be able to have a clue about the recruit. If Fred is a C, it means that someone DEFINITELY got recruited on day 1 so sure cs (radekas and Voller) can be still trusted. The D will also be able to trust the cs he investigated after day 1.

Even if Fred is a c, his death is gonna be really valuable
