No the deal was because UEFA deemed we falsified our accounts and there for broke the original FFP agreement, so the new agreement has a 20 mill fine, where only 10 of it is paid if we comply with FFP for the next 3 years

Sorry but when Allegri felt he needed Paredes at the expense of keeping Rovella here last season, and purposely played Alex Sandro to force a contract extension, it doesn't surprise me one bit that Allegri and his requests are as retarded as wanting Lukaku
Don’t get me wrong, only based on that Paredes decision he should not be anywhere near transfer decisions (I’d prefer not even near football pitch) but I’m not sure if Lukaku is merely a means to offload Vlahovic without any degradation in our performance up front.

So… seems that Nkunku got injured and will be out for two months… so NOW Chelsea needs a forward and will choose to get Vlahovic or keep Lukaku…

So we are screw :vdp:

hope it's the latter. We can't keep to kill our team strategy to make Allegri happy. Specially when he is a goner 100% next summer.
Hopefully but I am not sure about it after the horrible displays and our management backing him up. Any other team would sack him but we decided that he is too expensive to sack or worse we believe in Jihad football...
I hope he is gone in the summer but I wouldnt bet on it yet.

The management believes Allegro is our safety net to securing CL football. This is a cowardly strategy and it could be damaging in the long run if he stays beyond this season.

By the time he leaves, he's going to leave with a squad in shambles.

I don't understand, does this stupid management think this is 90s Serie A? Ffs just look at your competition.

I'm telling ya, Saudi league will be more relevant than Serie A in a few years time.

theres also the theory that with Juve needing to qualify for CL this season and Spalletti unable to sign until next summer, keeping Allegri represents the best interim solution.

Yeah but then again what happens should we end in top 4 - I mean last season we finished 3rd despite a horrible season. He could do it again and he should be able to even clinch 2nd if the league the same as last year.
Would they fire him should he get a 2nd place in the league? Im not sure about it and thats what frightening.

What’s happening now is way beyond Allegri’s contribution only. We’re facing years of mismanagement and financial voodoo by unibrow and his minions. I’m not even sure signing Lukaku is an Allegri request. GdS publishes all kind of shit.
Allegri did make top 4 on the pitch with this same squad and if making top 4 is a necessity then I can see how new management would bet on him for this coming year. This is very short term of course but the problem we’re facing with UEFA and FFP is short term (2025)

Yeah but it's hard to preach austerity when you at the same time reward people who were part of the mess. I think we are mostly in agreement. Where we differ is you think a huge gamble that at best could be a stop gap solution is our only play. I have 0 faith in this mgmt and short sighted action like these only reinforce that belief. What we really need is a solid long term strategy carried out by capable men and led by a strong president who can and will withstand the storm. None of which we have imo

Heard about it but these are just speculations. You can even argue we are linked to Spalleti because of Giuntuli and his Napoli past..

I agree with the long term plan, but the problem we need to make sure UEFA will not put any more restrictions on us so that we can regularly make CL, which we depend heavily on for financial reasons.

I can see this happening, but if it does, then bringing th players that Allegri wants like Lukaku on long deals makes absolutly no sense at all, next season when we fire Allegri we will have playes that the new coach probably will not want and that we cant sell

I've always liked Spalletti, I think hes just as good as other top Italian managers like De Zerbi and Ancelotti. Getting him would be the best thing thats happened to this club since Conte took over.
If it's among only Italian managers he'd be there up in the top 7. Not anywhere near Ancelotti though. And not better than Conte, Mancini and pre-Alzheimer's Allegri.

I guess that's the problem though, we limit ourselves to a small pool of options because of nationalistic agendas.
