Ferrero, Scavanino or whatever his name is, all the board members who John Elkann hired, non football Exor suits. And John Elkann himself included, they all guranteed Allegri is staying and they believe in him for the project.


So I fail see to see any possibility for Giuntoli to join and fire Allegri. He was most likely told to take the job and work with Allegri if he accepts. So in his case, if he is against Allegris approach, he is most likely waiting until there's been enough time where he can tell the board "see, I worked with him and gave him time, but it didn't work".

Unless Allegri has a few months of insanely bad results (as we did up to November last season, or up to our 5 losses in 6 cl games form), I'm guessing that time will mean Giuntoli most likely will have to wait for a full season.

But let's hope he has more juice then that. And can have the mandate to make change quicker and salvage the season if it its necessary (if the predictable scenario of Spalletti waiting on sidelines turns out to be true).

I think I read somewhere Spalletti has an agreement or clause in his contract that prevents him from managing another club while on his little sabbatical. If thats true, it would explain a lot about the Allegri situation, specifically why he's still here.

Lukaku salary is 13m in Chelsea, right? I dont think there is much choice for him to move. And he also excluded from pre season by Poch. So they are the one need to move him

While Vlahovic have less salary (8m net) and still young and recovering from pulbagia problem. Yes, we need to gain funds but we can get it from others. Getting 50m from Vlahovic while getting Lukaku for 40m and give him higher salary will get us in worse position.

If the problem is getting ST who score goals. I dont see Lukaku is better now. And how about being more creative, instead focus on the issue for ST. How about Winger/AM/SS that creates opportunity, space, service for the striker

Sure, but it's simple common sense. When nearly all fans are in favour or against something (e.g. Allegri) - and this only happens on rare occasions -, it's a sign you want to be smartest guy in the room and your move is bound to fail. It's just common sense. Lukaku is a disgusting player. I think Brits and Inter fans would agree.

You mean to tell me that Dusan's first touch this year is the best he can do and that's it? I mean, the guy was just beaten by Allegri at bending the ball into the goal from behind the goal line. I don't buy it for a second. Our guys are being sabotaged.

I wonder what Inter fans thought of Lukaku two seasons ago when he was serie A player of the year? If Lukaku plays well, the majority of the fanbase will pivot, as they always do, good or bad.

It's definitely a challenging period to support the club, but we'll get through it brother. Nothing lasts forever, and like a phoenix rising from its ashes, we'll come back stronger. Although it may suck now, but big changes will come eventually. One significant decision, like changing the coach, can be the starting point for other positive transformations.

Not 100% sure about the timeline. But I remember the Lukaku rumor had died down before UEFA announced their decision of kicking us out of Conference League. And just about two or three days after that numerous sources (including reliable ones like Romano and Schira) started reporting on the swap deal.

Then it could really be the case that the ban changes the club's strategies in the transfer market. Allegri thinks he might have a chance to win Scudetto without having to participate in Europe competition. Once again he can't help his fetish about over-the-hill experienced champion players that could bring him the title. And that's why we were linked to Lukaku again.

Anyway it's only a guess.
