Getting personal there flabass. I get more pussy in a week than you do in a year, so go figure. Oh, and I don't do online dating; that's for losers like you. I go out and find real women in the real world.
Exactly my point, if 81 means 1981, you're a 30yo, but no one could tell that from how you speak or express your thoughts, sounds like a 15yo. By the time you'll be ready for marriage and children you'll probably be 70. :p

Del Neri made a miracle at Sampdoria, it does happen once in 20 years not only for Samp but probably also for Gigi to jump so high above his ass. To some extent I agree to Dominic, Del Neri might be under-achieving, but he's hardly a disaster with the quality we have in the team. I can't see this team much higher in the table with the problems we had to deal this year, especially in attack and midfield.

I need to adapt to my surroundings. When I deal with adults, I act like one. Unfortunately, there are a lot of idiots here. You aren't one of them, hence I don't understand your personal attack on me for no apparent reason. I don't recall ever offending you. In any case, you are entitled to your own opinions, no matter how inaccurate and flawed they may be.

Del Neri's team always look to attack the opposition on counters.. He doesn't train these players to play the game in opposition half. Basically giving too much respect to the opponent (while they have none for you) and asking them to bring the game to us evrey goddamn week results in what we're seeing now... Sometimes you get the points but sometimes you get out-played by shettiset sides in league. Not to mention many times he still defended a loss this season with his changes during matches. ( I wish I made a list of it but Napoli's game is one example on top of my head)

This kinda mentality might result in somekind of success for sides like sampdoria tho..

What you're saying is contradicting. First of all, Pazzini is not quality, Cassano is. Look at the rest of their squad and it's piss poor. Or you're actually saying that Sampdoria had players on who can they rely on?

I think that was the same Nedved everyone wanted to retire that season. Same Camoranesi who was always injured and where we've seen Marchionni at his place. But yea, I forgot how you rated Zanetti, because to me he was nothing to brag about.
Pazzini is quality. They had both him and Cassano to lead their frontline, they could rely on them all season. They led the team. Stability in quality gives the team assurances, which makes the lesser players more confident.

We all saw how good our midfield ticked, once Zanetti left the team... Camoranesi, though often out of the team, was one of serie A's best players when fit. Nedved though not as good as the player of old, was still one of the teams leaders.

Reports in Italy claim Juventus' inability to beat Catania on Saturday spells the end for Gigi Del Neri.

Juventus led 2-0 in Turin but lost their heads in the last 10 minutes and conceded twice to draw 2-2.

Although unbeaten in five matches, Juventus lie seventh in Serie A and risk missing out on Europe.

La Repubblica understands Juventus President Andrea Agnelli has told the club's general manager Beppe Marotta to start looking for a new Coach before next season.

Del Neri has apparently disappointed them for failing to get the best out of a squad that they consider to be rather good from a technical point of view.

Luciano Spalletti, Walter Mazzarri and Roberto Mancini are the favourites for the job in Turin.

However, all three remain under contract and would prove difficult to appoint.

La Repubblica is a media close to Agnelli family, right ?
If true, this will be reason to celebrate that draw against Catania and to thank them personally.

You see, we never had problems scoring goals, which Pazzini and Cassano did back then. Our problem this season has been defense and at some part weak midfield as well. Sampdoria could rely on their strikers but their defense and midfield were weaker than ours.

I never said Camo was bad, I just said he was injured a lot. Zanetti was not holding our midfield, you're making him look like a Xavi, so since he left everything fell apart.

It's not as if our squad wreaks quality in every department, but the coach is also responsible and accountable for:

1) Squad selection
2) Flexibility
3) Choice of players

Del Neri has failed in selecting quality players, in adapting to and correctly reading game situations, in addition to being highly inflexible with his tactics and formations.

Even if Del Neri succeeded at Sampdoria and it wasn't down to Cassano carrying the team, that's only one successful year for the guy and it occurred in a very weak Serie A. There's no excuse for basing our future off of one season with Sampdoria, none.

Little known history fact: during WWII no actual Jews were killed. The dead bodies we saw in documentaries later on were those of Chinese actors.

I call bullshit. Everyone knows the Chinese can't act. Have you seen Jackie Chan in The Myth or Tuxedo?

I'm still not convinced Del Neri is that bad. More of a lacky of quality and a lack of quantity of quality in the side than anything else.
I have two main issues with Delneri:

1. He plays a ridiculously narrow defence, which put more responsibilty on the fullbacks and wingers to defend, rather than the CBs. I like a narrow defence, but it's not appropriate for this Juve and Delneri takes it too far; and

2. The intention to have almost no possession when defending a lead. I prefer sitting back and holding shape, rather than commiting men forward, but, again, Delneri goes to far in sitting back and inviting the other team to come forward and put pressure on Juve fragile defence.

These tactics were both basically fine at Samp as they suited the players they had, they are not appropriate for this Juve, though.
