Even if you hate his tactics like me, you have to give him credit for our morale. We could have folded a long time ago. But yesterday we came out and smashed Inter. The players were energetic and running. They were willing to be carried off the field. There's something to say about Del Neri there. They all seem to be behind him still.

It's easy to get a team to play with the right mentality in a big game against a top side.

When Delneri consistently gets Juve playing with the right concentration, intensity and tempo against smaller teams, I might be impressed.

Chiellini to stay at full-back
Juventus boss Gigi Del Neri has revealed that Giorgio Chiellini will play at full-back for the rest of the season.

The Italy international has switched from centre-back in order to provide Juventus with more solidity in defence.

Juventus have won each of the two games in which Chiellini has played at left-back and Italy boss Cesare Prandelli also used the 26-year-old in the position in a friendly against Germany.

“Giorgio will play there all season,” Del Neri said. “He knows it. He asked to do it. He is a lad of great quality, of great strength, of charisma and expresses himself very well in that role.

“Right now there are few left-backs in Italy with this strength. And anyway he plays where I say so like all the others. In the middle, on the left, on the wing, on the bench, in the stands… It doesn't matter where.

“I decide,” Del Neri concluded.

Did he really need to talk that way? :shifty:

GDN anti-Inter. In the last three campionati he has beaten Inter at least once. With Atalanta 3-1, with Samp 1-0 & with Juve last Sunday...

In the last 4 games vs Inter his side never conceded a goal. Delneri also beat Inter with Chievo 2-1 in Milan (01-02) & in Verona (02-03).
