I just watched full game and I have couple of questions to Del Neri:
1) WHERE IS CAMORANESI? what was the reason to remove him from the team?Big wages? U only workin here 3 months, Camoranesi is Juventini, he is a legend, why nobody tell the truth?he is better option now for us, Krasic, Martinez e Lanzafame need time to adapt here well, they are not ready to be starters on my opinion
2) Felipe Melo substitution - why? i saw highlights, read comments etc. and everybody ask same question - why injured marchisio is stayin' on the field, and Melo is leave it?
3) Fomartion question - yes, i know u prefer 442 formation , i like this formation too, but wait a minute - when we have only 1 striker, is it hard to play 4-3-3?
Marchisio - Melo - Sissoko
Krasic(martinez) - Quag - Pepe(lanzafame)
why not? just 1 fuckin game!
4) Why Grosso is removed from the team? he is not so fast like de ceglie, but damn in this situation he is much better option than DC! Dc always out of position, he don't know how to mark player damn, Alvarez did what he want on his wing! or Grygera is better option than him? I don't think so!
5) Giovinco - he don't suit in ur formation, but usin' Martinez out of his natural position is better?i don't think so,that's why u must try 4-3-3 one day
6) I saw no improvements in our team since u r head coach, team spend 4 hours on tactical lessons huh? I don't think so!
7) WORK WORK AND WORK LUIGI !!!!!!!!

Formation is not a huge issue yet,we're still in the first weeks. Even with 433 we would still get the same issues only with pepe and milos a bit more advanced and still having no idea.

I didn't like his pussy selection and subs. Alex should have never completed 90mins,the same for marchi and krasic shouldn't have started.

I can wait a bit for the fluidity of play but losiing the shape after conceding is reminiscent of last season so here is hoping its a one off.
We were hoping it was a "one off" for most of the season last year

Positives:
Our defense, other than De Ceglie, looked good in the first half before conceding.

It's clear we aren't used to coming back to a 4-4-2, especially with half our players being new. So there is hope for more to come.

Negatives:
We want to play with wingers, but more than half our crosses ended up being blocked.

Without big striker presence our speedy wingers mean shit. Even if crosses manage to get through, nobody could get to it.

Del Neri perhaps build Juve too much around his experience with Samdoria, but forgets that most teams play defensive and counter attacking against the big teams like Juve. This Juve team is build to counter attack with speed, it was very clear when Bari were defending in numbers we just didn't have a clue how to break them down.

How we really under-appreciated Claudio Ranieri, if we look at the current team and the competence of our directors with the team Ranieri had. I say he did wonders.

Last season Cassano had much more to do with Samp results than Del Neri did, FACT, yet we didn't even approach him, another retarded move. I watched Milan yesterday and i watched our game, depressing, we are absolutely crap with a bunch of absolutely shit players as usual and they have world class talents, fucking depressing really.

Capello's 4-4-2 with much weaker players in every position, Sampdoria without Cassano, either way it's terrible shit.

Here here, Ranieri did very well - and remember - he got fired for draws, not losses

Milan attack:

Ronaldinho Ibrahimovic Pato - now that's world class - will be a JOY to watch

Juve attack:

DP (I love him but he's 300 years old) Amauri ("I can score one in a thousand chances") Iaquinta ("when was the last time I wasn't injured for more than 3 consecutive games?") - Quagmire ("Wtf did this team buy me? are they crazy? Who cares I'll take the money!")

Very depressing. Milan bought Ibra as well, I guess not being in the CL, getting Ibra was not possible.

We needed somebody like him more than Milan, a creative world class striker.

Lets just hope, Del Neri has more to show. Bad first game but not totally representative just yet.

Del Neri after the match “I don’t know what our objectives might be this season but we certainly haven’t set our target to be the main contenders behind Inter. I repeat this is just the beginning and we still have work to do.”

A man without objectives, goals or a vision - I see great things this season.

7th last season might have been an accomplishment.

my god it seems as if we are a lost case, give it time just wait and see this team when it gel.
there is just a couple of things to be addressed really.

1. the team have to learn how to attack in number.

2. new LB and the full backs need o learn how to mark players.

3. Marchisio gain form

Most of the fail agaist bari wasnt down to player quality, or tacticals used, but rather to the tactisc not used

clearly no one had a clue of where the teammates were, how to set up combinations, how to reach wingers, how to pass the ball around
those long balls to the flanks were especially horribad

Del neri will have his work cut out, thats for shure

oh, and if marchisio insist to moan about his contract rather then try not to play as horrific as recently, there is allways aquilani

i suppose the competition will do good for him

Horribad is an interesting word.

I agree with you, that's something I noted at half time. A lot of the players were shrugging their shoulders when in possession and playing it back to where they got it from.
