I'm pretty sure Ranieri > Pellegrini
I wonder; Next season's ROMA ??? Because; Roma was lost many points under spaletti...But ROMA under Ranieri's command was amazing and Roma's Strength amazingly increased...Our Scudetto Chance too low but Roma Can Win Scudetto...

And I Wonder Too Roma's Transfer Money ??? Did you Know My Friends ???

( Sorry for the terrible English  )

The reason everyone is annoyed is that this is the 4th manager we've hired who's yet to have proven himself at the highest level of European football. We tried that, and look what happened. We were due for a successful proven manager and now we have Del Neri.
Because its the bad management that has no strong personality, its not the coach, look at Ranieri with Roma? He did well. You need a strong tough management that will back the coach and straighten the players heads, not just agree with the fans. Lets not forget that Del Neri benched Cassano and won without him IN SAMPDORIA, only Capello can do that to Cassano.

There is no point in me posting my opinion about Del Neri's signing because you have said exactly what i think....+rep
Thanks, At least somebody here has a clear head. People think only famous names bring glory, they tend to forget that famous names started unknown.

I read Del NEri's profile - - - waste of flickin time - - fired twice ????? couldn't bring a club out of relegation ????

what people smoking in Turin ??????
plus those glasses he wears pissses me off . . ..

LOSER
Listen my friend, the only loser here is our team in 7th spot.
The so called loser Del Neri just got your spot for the CL. Time to wake up!

Ranieri is better than Pelligrini. I bet this roma can screw pellegrini's madrid in the ass just like Lyon and old Milan did.

Madrid's season is a failure anyway you look at it. taking a world class squad , that finished easily second the previous year, and then adding 250 Mill worth of players to it to end up losing every big match there is. (If lyon can be seen as a big team).

The inexperienced leonardo with the old crappy one man team that is Acmilan did a better job.

I would have excused madrid if they had thrashed Lyon and Milan but then ended up exiting against Bayern.
Ranieri could be better than Pelligrini in stealing knickers and may be in stitching shoes, but any manager with a coaching badge is always better Ranieri or atleast on par with him. Imagine $300M spent and Perez appointing Ranieri last season, he would taken the team to relegation zone just like he did twice at Valencia.

I thought this appointment was bit hasty decision to appoint this bloke, it should backfire. There is still plenty of time to choose a reputed manager frp,, gone are the days of Lippi, Capello, Trap and Sacchi..... like it or not the best Italian manager in the Universe is the great Roberto Mancini. Appointing only Italians only for the sake of culture wont work out as the team needs to be rebuilt from the scratch...It would definitely a lot of doing to convince a top manager to take over a fallen giant deserted at the seventh place but its all worth the effort.

Also managers might have successs in managing pratts like Cassano but not always they can win. Bobby Robson assembled a team of crooks, felons and rapists ...Bowyer, Dyer, Bellamy, Kluivert, Woodgate later Barton and locked in the same room along with Shearer and over a period it collpased on his own shoulders and also on his successors. Managing mentally unstable footballers is not an essential criteria to rate a great manager, it can only bring down a club along with the guy that signed him.

ATM its definitely Ancelotti the guy who just won the double without hardly spending anything last summer !!

Don't know why but people on this forum are really downgrading italian managers and blaming them for the desperate state of italian football which is unfair.

Italian managers have little to do with the problems of the italian game IMO.

Mourinho just showed how important a good coach really is. And we get Del Neri for our comeback? This appointment never makes any sense to me. For me, a quality coach for our comeback to the top is more important than signing a quality striker, winger or a fullback. Del Neri is just going to be one of those coaches that we're going to fire, sooner or later.

I dunno if it was mentioned before but this guy has never managed to beat Juve as a manager with any of the teams he coached, until our last away match against Doria when Cassano fucked Cheminti.

Luigi Del Neri: 4-4-2 Not A Dogma At Juventus

The tactician is geared up for a 'challenging’ adventure…

Luigi Del Neri claims he will be open to trying out different systems at Juventus despite being regarded as a '4-4-2 fanatic’.

The tactician was named as the new boss of the Serie A giants last week and unveiled his plans for the future of the club in an interview with Radio Uno show 'Radio Anch’Io Sport’ this morning.

“Juve have picked Del Neri and know his style of play,” he said.

“But it’s not like I have always employed a 4-4-2 formation. I also used a three-man front line at Roma or a trequartista behind the striker, for instance at Atalanta or at Sampdoria with other solutions.”

Juve are allegedly set for a major summer clear-out after a poor season, but Del Neri’s view is far from catastrophic.

“I would talk of improvement rather than rebuilding,” he mused.

“This is a group of champions, although we must reinforce the team to achieve our targets for next season.

“It will be an important and challenging adventure for me at Juventus. And we will have to work hard to get credibility back.”
