Unless you fill the ??? with a defensive / balance player that will be as bad as last season. Cassano will not track back, neither will Diego therefore all the donkey work will be done by Melo... do we really want that?

Yeah, I said that this morning. Hopefully Marrotta isn't all about the Italians.

And this makes me wonder, if Gasperini or Prandelli did just a bit better like last season, would we have one of them here instead of Del Neri? We're basically signing Del Neri cause Pazzini+Cassano took his team to the Champions League in a year where we were extremely bad. I still can't see the logic in hiring this grandpa.
