It's only because they are constantly asked about it, to appease local fans and media.

"Are you in the chase for the scudetto?"

The likely answer isn't going to be "no we're not".

Tomorrow's headline: "Del Piero declares Juventus out of title race".

One could answer - It's too early to tell, there are plenty of games to come and etc. There are plenty of ways to not say that we are in a scudetto race.

I disagree J.

all 3 - players, coaches, mgmt. - keep talking this crap whenever we're looking good.

even if they are asked, just say 'we're taking it one game at a time' or some shit.

instead you hear 'We are gunning for the title', 'Juve must succeed' and 'I am here to win trophies.'

just STFU already.

And then they print it as him saying we are in the title race.

Ahmed, whilst we might not hearing it when we drop points it isn't the reason for that, there are millions of Juventini who desperately need to hear those words and believe they are chasing something.

J, I'd rather not hear the team say it, considering it is still too early for title talk, and the fact that we have had our asses handed to us every time we utter the dreaded S word.

It's not usual to get going in the first 15 minutes specially after a two weeks break. Yet in midfield we were controlling the game from minute 1 to 15!

I think we would've won the game easily if it wasn't for Melo's dismissal, at least not a home defeat.

I don't know how you can possibly judge how the game would pan out when Melo is sent off after 17'. So we started slowly, big deal.
Judging how the players were walking around with their thumbs stuck up their ass after the second goal, despite the long break of rejuvenation, I'd say rather poorly.

Unless we just want to blame one player each match for all our ailments. But everybody, including DN, has responsibility in the way game played out after the card.

So what does the second goal have to do with what I said? We went 2-0 down with ten men, I'd rather expect our heads might go down a bit....

if we can't sign any good strikers, better use our talented youngsters..
starting with Boniperti and Camilleri, they both should be on the 1st team squad..and kick grosso's greasy ass all the way to fak fak for all i care, just use Traore..
