I think Lucio would be a good back up, he's the kind of guy that scares attackers. Also scores on 1 or 2 occasions.

As a backup, he can.
We don't need 4 starter CB's, and I doubt Lucio will have the fee of a backup CB.
Is Sorensens still available for us or is he loaned out or co-owned at another team?

Sørensen is at Bologna next year, and we do need 4 starters for 3 tournaments next year, what if we are unlucky, and Chiellini's injury still continuce?

Lucio is most definitely not an apt replacement for Chiellini. I sincerely hope we manage to keep all our defenders fit for a long and grueling campaign next season, and that if Lucio indeed does come, he'll only play in a handful of games against the minnows of the league.
